A 9-year-old boy retrieved a gun from his parents' bedroom and shot his 13-year-old sister to death, authorities said, after the two got into an argument over a video game controller.The incident occurred over the weekend in rural Monroe County, Mississippi, as the children's mother was preparing lunch in the kitchen, the country sheriff said."He wanted the controller, and I guess he knew where to find the gun," Sheriff Cecil Cantrell told CNN.The boy grabbed a handgun, which was kept in a nightstand next to the bed, and shot the sister in the back of the head, the sheriff said."This is the first time I've ever dealt with any child that was shot like that," Cantrell said. (KGTV) - New details have been released in the moments leading up to a small plane crash in Scottsdale, Ariz., that killed six people this month.The National Transportation Safety Board report said video showed the plane take off from Scottsdale Airport on April 9, its wings "rocking during and shortly after."A traffic camera also recorded the plane in a left bank executing a left turn about half a mile from the airport. (KGTV) -- The U.S. Geological Survey says a pair of earthquakes struck Costa Rica's Pacific Coast Friday evening, including magnitude 6.0 temblor. There were no immediate reports of damage.The first quake was reported at 11:22 p.m. and was centered in the port town of Golfito on the southern Pacific Coast, according to USGS.The jolt was followed by a smaller but strong magnitude 4.9 quake centered in San Vito, about 40 miles east of Golfito.  That quake struck about 27 minutes after the quake in Golfito.Stay with 10News for updates to this story.  606

(KGTV) - TripAdvisor confirmed this month its willingness to publish travel reviews which include reports of crimes such as rape, robbery, theft or assault.A news release referenced a USA Today network article regarding a woman's online report that she had been sexually assaulted at the Iberostar Paraiso hotel near Playa del Carmen, Mexico. The article indicated the woman's review was removed from the TripAdvisor website.TripAdvisor said the woman's forum post was removed seven years ago when the company had a policy requiring content to use family-friendly language.
