(KGTV) — A Delaware school is apologizing after the infamous Rosanne Barr rendition of "The Star-Spangled Banner" recorded in San Diego was played before a recent high school football game.The Seaford School District said Wednesday they are unsure of how the recording was played before Seaford High School's Tuesday night football game, according to the News Journal of Wilmington.A letter from Superintendent David Perrington said the pregame proceedings with be improved and they are looking into the recent fumble.Students and families were shocked when Barr's version of the national anthem, recorded before a San Diego Padres game on July 25, 1990, blared over the intercom to usher in the game.Perrington's letter says the district usually plays the national anthem before games and will pay a district-approved version in the future.Need a reminder of how the infamous rendition played out? (KGTV) -- Costco is again adjusting store hours to accommodate seniors and other vulnerable groups.The wholesale retailer’s Special Operating Hours are typically 9 a.m.-10 a.m., Monday-Friday. The timeframe applies to customers 60 years of age and older and those with disabilities or who are immunocompromised, store officials said.However, citing the surge in COVID-19 cases across the country, Costco is moving its Special Operating Hours to 8 a.m.-9 a.m. at specific locations.The following San Diego County locations will move its Special Operating Hours to 8 a.m.-9 a.m.:Carmel MountainMission ValleyRancho Del Rey (H St., Chula Vista)Costco was one of the first retailers to require masks in its stores.Last month, Costco stopped allowing exemptions for mask-less shoppers citing medical conditions. 814

(KGTV) -- A large number of applicants flooding California State University's website forced the school to extend its deadline. The university system tweeted Saturday that an “extremely high volume of applicants were attempting to submit applications.” As a result, CSU extended the deadline to December 1, 2019 at 11:59 p.m. RELATED: Audit says CSU stashed away .5 billion and raised tuitionIt’s unclear how many applicants were having trouble submitting applications Saturday. (KGTV) -- A Central Valley man has been arrested for reportedly attempting to join ISIS, according to KGO.The man, identified as Bernard Raymond Augustine, 20, from Keyes, California was arrested on charges of providing material support to terrorists.Augustine was taken into custody while trying to enter Libya to join the Islamic State terrorist group.Augustine is expected to make his first appearance in federal court in Brooklyn Tuesday, according to authorities.Records show that Augustine told U.S. Customs he was going to Tunisia, where he was later arrested, for a vacation.After searching through his computer, authorities discovered a song that praised ISIS and messages sent by Augustine that seemed to do the same. 740

(CNN) -- It was an impressive disguise: the snow-white beard, the oversized glasses, the wheelchair.But it was when the seemingly frail and elderly passenger reached security at New Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport -- India's busiest airport -- that he caught the attention of staff.At around 10.45 p.m. on the evening of September 8, the individual was hoping to get on an overnight flight to New York."He posed as if he was very old and incapacitated," Shrikant Kishore, a senior official with the Central Industrial Security Force, told CNN.Dressed in a white tunic and trousers, with a white turban and black slippers, the passenger proved reluctant to be frisked."Our screener asked the person in the wheelchair to stand. He said that he cannot stand. Our screener asked if he would stand with support. He reluctantly stood up."That's when the officer noticed that while the passenger's beard and hair were white, the roots were black. He also was working hard to avoid the officer's eyes.When asked for his passport, the individual handed over documentation claiming that he was Amrick Singh, born in Delhi in February 1938, making him 81 years old."He was definitely not 80 years old. His skin was of a younger person," Kishore told CNN.Upon further questioning, the man told security staff that he was, in fact, 32-year-old Jayesh Patel, a resident of Gujarat state.As he was holding a fake passport, he was detailed by security and handed over to immigration authorities.Kishore told CNN that he doesn't know what the current status of the case is or the reason behind the impersonation.Indira Gandhi International Airport, commonly known as Delhi Airport, is the 12th busiest airport in the world, with close to 70 million passengers traveling through it in 2018. 1792
