Cheese is updating hundreds of the brand's locations by getting rid of the animatronics and tokens, and replacing them with an interactive dance floor and play passes. The franchise says the robotic band is gone and replaced with a centralized dance floor where Chuck E. makes a live appearance every hour. Instead of the tokens used to play games, Chuck E. Cheese says parents can load a play pass with time, allowing kids to play as many games as they want for the time bought.Chuck E. Cheese is also updating its menu to include foods like cauliflower crust pizza and an endless salad bar. The logo, furniture, color scheme and lighting are also getting an upgrade. 791

The nation’s capital prepares for what is expected to be the city’s largest demonstration against police brutality yet on Saturday. Military vehicles and officers in fatigues closed off much of downtown Washington to traffic ahead of the planned march. It was expected to attract up to 200,000 people outraged by Floyd’s death 12 days ago. Following days of unrest for Floyd’s death, Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison announced that former officer Derek Chauvin, who was seen kneeling on Floyd’s neck for more than eight minutes, was charged with third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter. On June 3, Ellison announced Cauvin’s murder charge was upgraded to second-degree murder. Additionally, the three other former officers seen in the video-- Tou Thao, J. Alexander Kueng and Thomas Lane—were also arrested and charged with aiding and abetting second-degree murder for their role in Floyd's death.Large protests also took place across the U.S. and in major cities overseas, including London, Paris, Berlin and Sydney, Australia. 1703

Following the lead of Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine on Thursday, multiple state governors announced that schools will be closed for multiple weeks due to the spread of coronavirus. Here are the states that have announced statewide school closures:Florida: On Friday, Florida's Commissioner of Education ordered schools in the state to remain closed until March 30.Maryland: Gov. Larry Hogan announced Thursday that schools in all of Maryland will close starting Monday for at least two weeks. Michigan: Gov. Gretchen Whitmer announced on Thursday that all Michigan schools will be closed until Monday April 6 because of the coronavirus.Ohio: Gov. Mike DeWine announced on Thursday that schools will close on Tuesday for three weeks. Health officials in Ohio believe that nearly 100,000 people are infected with the virus, but have only five confirmed cases as of Thursday. DeWine was the first governor to order a statewide school shutdown. Washington: Gov. Jay Inslee has ordered the closure of schools in three Washington counties to close for six weeks. Schools in King, Pierce and Snohomish counties are ordered closed from Tuesday, March 17 through Friday, April 24.Wisconsin: On Friday, Gov. Tony Evers directed the state’s Department of Health Services to mandate a statewide closure of all K-12 schools, public and private, beginning March 18 and lasting through April 6. For the fourth time in just over a week, losses by the Dow Jones Industrial Average triggered a circuit-breaker.The Dow had dropped 7 percent by early afternoon Wednesday, and trading was halted for 15 minutes.At the time of the trading halt, the Dow had fallen below where it had been when President Donald Trump was inaugurated in January 2017.The drop came after futures fell sharply overnight, signaling a tough day ahead for markets.By the end of the day, the Dow leveled off, closing down 6.3% for the day, losing 1,333 points from yesterday's totals. The Dow closed below, 20,000 points for the first time in more than three years. The Dow Jones Industrial Average has fallen 28 percent since hitting its all-time high in February.On Tuesday, the Dow recovered slightly from historic losses on Monday on the back of President Donald Trump's talk of a stimulus plan. Trump and administration officials said they are considering sending Americans cash directly within a matter of weeks in an attempt to boost the economy amid quarantines caused by the coronavirus pandemic. 1090
