Fierce winds and lightening strikes created by a powerful dust storm have killed around 100 people in northwestern India since late Wednesday, according to local authorities.In the state of Rajasthan, at least 31 people died and around 120 people were injured after winds downed more than 8,000 electricity poles and uprooted hundreds of trees, Jaipur District Divisional Commissioner T Ravi Kant told CNN."This has resulted in widespread electricity cuts and water shortages. Most of the deaths occurred after walls and roofs of houses collapsed in the middle of the night," he said.In neighboring Uttar Pradesh, the death toll stood at at least 64, with the vast majority of those deaths occurring in the city of Agra, where so far 43 have been confirmed dead.According to Sanjay Kumar, the relief commissioner at the Uttar Pradesh state disaster management authority, the high casualty number is the result of people becoming trapped under falling debris. Former "The Price is Right" host Bob Barker, 94, was hospitalized on Monday with non-life threatening injuries, Hollywood Reporter confirmed. Hollywood Reporter said that ambulances were dispatched to Barker's Los Angeles residence at 1 p.m. PT.Barker's manager told TMZ that the 94-year-old woke up to severe back pain. TMZ captured photos of Barker being loaded onto the back of an ambulance. He was then transported to Cedars-Sinai hospital.Barker was a fixture of daytime TV since the early days of television. Florida State University held a vigil Sunday night for the two women fatally shot at a Tallahassee yoga studio Friday as investigators try to establish why the alleged gunman opened fire.Scott Paul Beierle, 40, posed as a customer when he walked into Hot Yoga Tallahassee on Friday evening and fired a handgun without warning, police said.The yoga students fought back, police said, but two women were killed and five people were wounded.
