According to caring.com, San Diego ranks 159th out of 302 cities nationally for best and worst cities for seniors. San Diego ranked high on the list when it comes to quality of life, ranking 94th out of the 302 cities. Some areas where San Diego ranked lower include healthcare,180th out of 302 and affordability, placing 194th out of 302. In California, San Diego ranked fairly low, coming in at 45th among 75 cities. The best cities in The Golden State for seniors are San Francisco, Woodland Hills, Santa Monica and Burlingame. Nationally, San Francisco also took the top spot, followed by Fredericksburg, Virginia, Washington D.C. and Boston Massachusetts. Caring.com rated the cities using data on healthcare, housing options, community engagement, transportation, quality of life and workforce development. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — A San Diego International Airport TSA employee and worker at an airport vendor have both tested positive for coronavirus, the airport and TSA confirmed.San Diego International officials also confirmed that they were notified by an airport tenant that one of their employees has tested positive for coronavirus. No information was given as to which tenant the employee worked for and when they last worked.TSA officials say the screening officer worked the 2 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. shift at the airport's checkpoint 6, which is located in Terminal 2. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - A San Diego elementary school teacher was arrested this week and accused of distributing child pornography.Authorities arrested 59-year-old David Weaks, a fifth-grade teacher at Rosa Parks Elementary School in City Heights, Thursday and charged with distributing child pornography of young girls, including a toddler, according to a complaint filed by the U.S. District Court, Southern District of California.According to documents, a U.S. Department of Homeland Security special agent was able to download two child pornography videos of young females from Weaks computer through peer-to-peer software.The IP address associated with the download was tracked to a residence in San Diego and a subscriber with the last name of Weaks, the complaint says.Authorities say a search of Weaks' residence and his computer revealed numerous files featuring child pornography.The complaint said Weaks admitted to obtaining and distributing child pornography through the file-sharing software over the internet. He also admitted to possessing similar materials on an external hard drive.Weaks is scheduled for a detention hearing on April 24. The government has requested he be held without bond on the grounds that he "is a danger to the community and a flight risk."He faces a maximum of 20 years in prison and 0,000 fine if convicted. 1421

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — A growing number of teens report feeling lonely or left out according to a new study out of San Diego State University. The research was authored by psychology professor Jean Twenge and published in the Journal of Social and Personal Relationships. Among the findings:High school seniors who reported feeling lonely went from 26 percent in 2016 to 39 percent in 2017.High school seniors who said they often felt left out rose from 30 percent in 2012 to 38 percent in 2017. The data was collected from surveys of 8.2 million U.S. adolescents between 1976-2017. 589
