WASHINGTON - Florida Senators Marco Rubio and Rick Scott have teamed up to make a push to keep Daylight Saving Time across the country during the pandemic.It’s the latest push by Florida lawmakers to make Daylight Saving Time permanent.On Wednesday, Scott and Rubio released a joint statement saying they will introduce legislation to keep the United States on Daylight Saving Time through November 7, 2021.Daylight Saving Time is scheduled to end for the year on Sunday, November 1.The senators say their bill will help provide stability for families dealing with enough change with virtual learning, working from home and other disruptions the COVID-19 pandemic has caused.“After months of staying inside amid the coronavirus pandemic, families across the nation could use a little more sunshine and time to enjoy all that Florida has to offer… I’m glad to join Senator Rubio to lead this effort in Congress,” Scott said in a statement.In 2018, Florida lawmakers approved a bill to keep Florida on Daylight Saving Time permanently. But it can't be enacted without congressional approval.“Our government has asked a lot of the American people over the past seven months, and keeping the nation on Daylight Saving Time is just one small step we can take to help ease the burden,” Rubio said.Legislation to make daylights savings time permanent has also been introduced in Colorado, Delaware, Georgia, Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, Missouri, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Texas, Utah and Vermont. Similar legislation has been struck down in Idaho, Mississippi, New Mexico, Virginia, West Virginia and Wyoming.Hawaii does not observe Daylight Saving Time and neither does Arizona, minus the Navajo Nation in the northeastern part of the state, according to NASA. The video was widely spread in hopes someone could identify the woman, who appeared to be distressed. It’s a type of situation police hope homeowners will first share the video with authorities before posting it on social media.  "What you posted on social media, that may well tell a thief, ‘Stay out of this neighborhood. I'm going to move on to another one,’” says Peter Henning, a law professor at Wayne State University Law School. “That could thwart an investigation."Another reason? (KGTV) — The jury deciding former NFL star Kellen Winslow Jr.'s fate in a rape trial, sent a note to the judge asking two questions.The questions lending a window into what's happening as the jury continues deliberating.10News spoke with Defense Attorney Gretchen Von Helms, to gain insight.On the surface, the questions seem obvious: "The jurors could benefit from an explanation as to what being under oath means. Yes, you're supposed to follow the law," Von Helms said.She said the note made her think the jury was not agreeing, "the jury's trying to be nice here and say there's one person who just doesn't want to follow the rules, that's what it sounds like."The first question, she said, could indicate questions the jurors have, "sometimes police officers have to take an oath to be a police officer and maybe they feel that the police officer didn't do their job and follow up correctly or maybe they feel that their definition of that oath is different from the jurors oath."In regards to the second question, she said "the gut versus law issue, they must follow the law, even if they don't like the defendant, even though some people may not want to convict him because he's a football legacy, you can't do that. VISTA (KGTV) – One person is dead and four more injured after three motorcycles crashed in Vista Saturday night.The crash happened at the intersection of Monte Mar Road and East Vista Way around 6:30 p.m. The motorcyclist who died is 55, but authorities did not release his name.Deputies say at least three motorcycles and one car were involved in the crash. All of the motorcyclists are part of the same club.Deputies say three Harley’s crashed with a Toyota Camry. Authorities don’t believe drugs or alcohol were factors in the crash. 544

WASCO, California — Suge Knight has been transferred to Wasco State Prison.According to California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, Marion Hugh Knight, also known as 'Suge Knight', was admitted to Wasco State Prison on Tuesday, October 23. Last month, the one-time rap mogul was sentenced to 28 years in prison after pleading no contest to voluntary manslaughter relating to a 2015 hit-and-run.  According to the CDCR, at this time, Knight is eligible for parole in October 2037. 550
