(KGTV) - Neighbors in San Marcos are sounding the alarm on a suspected prowler after his antics were caught on two different doorbell cameras.The first video from a homeowner in the Richland area of San Marcos shows a man cover his face while peering into a stranger’s home and whistle at the dog inside in an attempt to stop it from barking.The second video from the front door of Sam Ilaian’s house captures the man loitering in his driveway before walking up to take the ring camera.“He pulled it off the wall completely,” said Ilaian, “brackets and everything.”The Sheriff’s department has the video now and Ilaian says the neighborhood is a little more vigilant.As for his front door, “I think now I’ll install more cameras there,” said Ilaian.  763

(KGTV) - San Diego Police and Crime Stoppers requested the public’s help Thursday to find a man suspected of robbing an adult store in the Midway area. The man walked into the Adult Depot about 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 21 and pulled out a handgun, police said. He pointed the gun at the clerk’s head and demanded cash, then took money from the register. Police said the man fired one shot at the computer monitor above the cash register before running away. Investigators said the man was last seen walking north on Pacific Highway. The man is described as Hispanic and 5’4” to 5’6” tall. He was wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, black bandana, black gloves, gray pants, and black and white tennis shoes. Anyone with information is asked to call San Diego Police. 764

(KGTV) — The child in all of us may be compelled to bust out the stationary and send an actual letter this year.The United States Postal Service introduced three new sets of stamps for 2019, featuring characters from Sesame Street, the Tyrannosaurus rex, and "spooky silhouettes" for the fall season.The Sesame Street stamps, designed by Derry Noyes, will feature 16 Muppets characters: Big Bird, Ernie, Bert, Cookie Monster, Rosita, The Count, Oscar the Grouch, Abby Cadabby, Herry Monster, Julia, Guy Smiley, Snuffleupagus, Elmo, Telly, Grover and Zoe. "The Postal Service honors Sesame Street as one of the most influential and beloved children’s television shows. For the last 50 years, it has provided educational programming and entertainment for generations of children throughout the country and around the world," the service said.T. rex stamps were designed with original artwork by scientist Julius T. Csotonyi. (KGTV) — It's beginning to look a lot like winter in Southern California already.Big Bear Snow Play spent Wednesday making snow for the 2019-2020 season, as Big Bear Lake's temperatures dipped into the low 20s overnight into Thursday. The tubing destination plans to open for the season Saturday, Nov. 2, and remain open on Saturdays and Sundays until Nov. 11, when daily operations will resume. This weekend, temperatures are expected to reach a high of 53 degrees and a low of 23 degrees. 498

(KGTV) — Three of the country's biggest ticket sellers told Congressional members they would support a mandate to include all ticket fees up front for consumers, ESPN reports.The current industry standard is to reveal those "all-in" fees to consumers only after they input their personal information, including name, address, and email address, ESPN says. The practice has been called anti-consumer and deceptive by Congressional members.Amy Howe, Ticketmaster's chief operating officer, told the House Committee on Energy and Commerce that the total ticket price "should be disclosed from the outset, not at the end of the purchase process."Representatives from Stubhub and AXS also said the companies would support "all-in" pricing. Stubhub's general counsel Stephanie Burns told the committee that the company tried the pricing strategy in 2014 and 2015, but moved away from it because consumers found it confusing when competitors' prices appeared lower in search engines online.Committee chairman Frank Pallone, D-N.J., said he was particularly concerned about higher fees sneaking up on consumers."Millions of Americans shop on the internet for tickets," Pallone said. "In some ways, the internet has made this experience more convenient, but it has also led to consumers being ripped off as they try to navigate a ticketing industry that for too long has operated in the dark."Representatives from the three companies also touched on deceptive websites and venues holding back tickets to increase scarcity. The companies, however, argued over the ease for consumers to digitally transfer tickets regardless of the original site used to purchase tickets.Currently, a bill in Congress known as the Better Oversight of Secondary Sales and Accountability in Concert Ticketing Act is trying to push for new standards in the ticketing industry. 1853
