Ningbo Zhoushan Port, which lies at the meeting point of the Silk Road Economic Belt and the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road, is the busiest port in China.

"The penetration rate of mobile payment in Carrefour stores in China has surpassed 50 percent, and the rate of smart cashiers has reached 38 percent," said Nathalie Yu, vice president of Carrefour China.
Chinese residents used 38 minutes a day on transport in 2018, nearly half as much as that in 2008. Office workers spent 16 minutes less time commuting while student commuting time shortened by 27 minutes.
