LA JOLLA (CNS) - A woman's body was found Sunday on the shoreline below cliffs in La Jolla, police said.At 6:40 a.m., someone found the body about 75 feet below the cliffs near Coast Walk, north of Torrey Pines Road, according to Officer Tony Martinez of the San Diego Police Department.Lifeguards recovered the body, which was taken with a Jet Ski to La Jolla Shores, where they met with officials from the county Medical Examiner's Office.There was no additional information on the victim, Martinez said. 514

So what now?"He didn't call a ball or a strike, he said you know I'm just going to let you guys do this," said former U.S. Attorney Chuck LaBella. LaBella explained Attorney Robert Mueller is leaving it up to the Department of Justice to decide."I actually think it's the right call for him to make because he is not in the Department of Justice, he's a former prosecutor, he knows what the rules are, he knows what the standard is, but this is a Department of Justice policy decision," LaBella said. LaBella worked on a similar investigation, during former President Bill Clinton's administration, regarding campaign finance abuses.When it comes to how much information can be released, LaBella said the public will probably only see 30-40% of the findings. "People calling for the public wholesale release of this need to really check the law, because the law is pretty clear,", he explained, saying grand jury materials, including interviews, are private."It could potentially hurt people who only had tangential involvement in this. They were initially suspected of bad conduct," he said. Susan Davis, who adamantly wants the full report released, saying it has huge implications on future politics. LA JOLLA -- The iconic Scripps Pier stretches more than 1,000 feet over the ocean at La Jolla Shores.It also serves as a starting point for a new mosaic that maps the wildlife in and around the 1,900-foot deep canyons under the water. Over the last year, four artists have laid down upwards of 500,000 pieces of glass and porcelain. They created a 2,400 square-foot mosaic that shows everything from fish to stingrays to whales."When someone sees something and loves it, they want to know more about it, and they also want to protect it," said Wick Alexander, one of the artists. On Tuesday, the artists held an open house to view the mosaic. It's now tucked away inside a building in the Scripps Institution of Oceanography. In a few months, crews plan to install it at Kellogg Park at the Shores, a spot a smaller mosaic once occupied. That mosaic, installed in 2008, began crack and was removed. Alexander says the new one will be able to last a lot longer. Renowned oceanographer Walter Munk, one of the project's main backers, said he hopes the mosaic makes a lasting impression. "People who don't dive and who don't really realize can get a chance to see what's going on," he said. Munk and his wife Mary donated more than 0,000 to the project.
