BEIJING, Oct. 14 (Xinhua) -- Chinese top legislator Zhang Dejiang held talks with the Speaker of the Sri Lankan parliament Karu Jayasuriya on Friday, calling for enhanced parliamentary cooperation between the two countries.
Zhang said he hopes Finland, a member of the European Union and the euro zone, continues to play an active role in promoting the ties between China and Europe, as well as facilitating free trade and investment.
