The minister highlighted the two countries' joint efforts in promotion of noninterference foreign policy and peaceful settlement of international disputes.

"China will continue its mutually beneficial cooperation with the AU. We are well connected with the AU and all its members and we believe that there is a lot more that we can discuss in terms of economic and social progress in collaboration with each other," Yang said.

Wang hoped that China and South Korea will join hands to expand people-to-people exchanges and sign the FTA at the earliest possible date and promote economic integration in Asia.

Efforts should also be made to boost ethnic unity, improve China's system of regional ethnic autonomy, and apply the principle of the rule of law to religious undertakings, it said.

"We share the opinion that our relations are constantly improving, that our agreements are being fulfilled, and that we are working towards their realization," Dacic said.
