TWIN LAKES, Colo. -- Riley Tinkham has done something very special with his dad's prized Porsche.He inherited the 1982 model when his father, Richard, died of complications from cancer in 2016. The car had been sitting in a garage for several years, so Tinkham fixed it up.Earlier this summer he took the car and parked it in front of his house in Twin Lakes, Colorado. Discover."He said the second quote is from Billy Cox, a motivational speaker."Life will only change when you become more committed to your dreams than your comfort zone.""I think that's a really poignant quote today," Tinkham said, "with how many comforts we have in life, how much technology we have. Everything is easier than it's ever been."After seeing the quotes, Tinkham's friend, Bob Dalzell, who operates a coffee shop on wheels called Percolated Peaks, suggested that he leave a magic marker out for others to add their own inspiration.So he did."Not all who wander are lost," one woman wrote."Live life, have fun, kick ass," a man wrote."The mountains are calling and I must go," wrote another woman.Tinkham told KMGH he's enjoyed seeing the next level his car has gone to."I'm being inspired," he said. "To see that shared with other people is really rewarding." Tinkham said the orange paint is removable and he plans to peel it off in the spring and start a new project with the special car. 1789

Two Democrats leading the rebellion against Nancy Pelosi were bullish Tuesday evening about their efforts to stop her from winning the speakership, promising to soon reveal that they had enough support to cause a major shake-up at the top of their caucus.The Democrats, Reps. Seth Moulton of Massachusetts and Filemon Vela of Texas, contended that their private conversations revealed that Pelosi would soon learn that she lacked backing within the full House to be elected speaker next year -- despite her confidence that she would lock down the necessary support."I am 100% confident we can forge new leadership," Vela told CNN.Asked how confident they were that they could defeat Pelosi, Moulton also said: "100%."The Pelosi detractors are circulating a letter and trying to accumulate enough signatures to showcase the breadth of the Democratic opposition to Pelosi. The strategy is this: Show that the California Democrat lacks support after new and current members commit to voting for another candidate on the floor. At that point, they hope, Pelosi will see the writing on the wall, step aside and allow new candidates for the speakership to emerge."We are trying to do the right thing for the party by solving this ahead of time," Moulton said.The goal, they said, is to release their letter as soon as this week or at least before the Nov. 28 leadership elections in the House Democratic Caucus. Pelosi will have to win a majority of support within the caucus to be nominated as speaker -- something that is virtually assured -- before the full House votes for a speaker in January, where the numbers will be critical.Supporters of Pelosi are deeply skeptical about her critics' predictions, expecting she will get enough votes to become speaker and will overcome the opposition from the small minority of rabble-rousing Democrats. After the 2016 elections, 63 Democrats opposed Pelosi in the leadership races but nearly all of them voted for her later on the floor.After this month's vote, the Democratic candidate for speaker will face off against the Republican candidate for speaker in January. House rules say the candidate who wins the race must secure a majority of votes from the members who attend and actually cast votes for a candidate. VALLEY CENTER, Calif. (KGTV) -- The owner of a Valley Center pizza shop was arrested for alleged sexual battery, according to the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department. According to the Department, Mark Desimone, the owner of Pizza Pazza was arrested on September 5 for multiple counts of sexual battery. The department says the arrest stems from an investigation by detectives in Valley Center. According to investigators, the incidents occurred at Pizza Pazza at an unspecified time. As of 3:02 p.m., the fire had reached 100 acres and was 10% contained, and the forward rate of spread had been stopped.At least one structure was threatened by the fire, firefighters said.As of 6:30 p.m., Cal Fire lifted all road closures and evacuation orders. A temporary evacuation point had been set up at Edwards Cinema at 2951 Jamacha Road in El Cajon, Cal Fire says. 857

TRUCKEE, California — A furry four-legged visitor has been caught on camera entering a law enforcement facility.The California Highway Patrol says a black bear wandered into their Donner Pass Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Facility on the night of November 17.It didn't appear the furry fella needed much help either. The bear easily stands on its hind legs to open the door and then reverts back to all fours as it enters to apparently inspect the facilities vending machines.Donner Pass shared the video of the 'breaking and entering' on their Facebook page.    586
