The United States Consumer Product Safety Commission has issued a massive fire extinguisher recall that spans over 40 years and covers more than 120 models of fire extinguishers.According to the CPSC, it involves two styles of Kidde fire extinguishers: Plastic handle fire extinguishers and push button fire extinguishers. They may fail to discharge and the nozzle may detach.The 134 models were manufactured between Jan. 1, 1973 and Aug. 15, 2017, and includes models that have been previously recalled in March 2009 and February 2015.They were sold in red, white and silver and are either ABC- or BC-rated.According to the CPSC, there has been one death reported due to the recall. In 2014 emergency responders could not get the fire extinguishers to work during a car fire. The State of Washington will soon have to rehab a lake that is overrun with an invasive species: Goldfish.The fish have filled West Medical Lake, along with Koi, and are crowding out other fish species.Pet owners likely dumped goldfish into the lake, and that may be the source of the problem, says the Division of Fish and Wildlife. Officials say while some believe it's a service to goldfish to release them into a lake, it is a disservice to the ecosystem.Goldfish are a domesticated version of a wild carp from East Asia and were developed due to artificial selection created by humans.Simply put, goldfish are mostly for visual effect.West Medical Lake, near Spokane, Washington, is known as one of the best producing opening day trout lakes in the state, according to the Washington Dept. of Fish and Wildlife. The US Secret Service is investigating the vandalism of a sign at the Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Florida.The West Palm Beach Sheriff's Office told the White House press pool that the Secret Service is looking into red paint that was splattered on the sign outside of the entrance of the club. Crews were spotted cleaning the sign early Sunday morning.A spokesman for the Secret Service said they are "aware of the incident."West Palm Beach is a frequent getaway for President Donald Trump and his family. The two children who were rescued from an RV after an hours-long chase ended in Kern County, California have been reunited with their mother. The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Office posted pictures on Twitter at about 2 a.m. Wednesday, showing the children with their mom at an office.
