BERLIN, Oct. 10 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Premier Li Keqiang met here Friday with German President Joachim Gauck and expressed his wish that the two countries strive for a better future of their all-dimensional strategic partnership.
As of Saturday, 4,269 cases, resulting in 2,288 deaths, had been reported in Guinea, Liberia, Sierra Leone and Nigeria, according to the World Health Organization.
"We should discard the zero-sum mentality of win-or-lose and make a joint effort to control conflicts and differences, so as not to lose East Asia's historical development opportunities because of the distraction," Li told the summit.
Zhang, chairman of the Standing Committee of China's National People's Congress (NPC), hailed the development of bilateral relationship, highlighting frequent high-level interactions, increasing political trust and expanding practical cooperation.
