TAMPA, Florida ¡ª Police said they got a big win Friday night after they were able to arrest a man wanted in connection to installing credit card skimming devices across the Tampa Bay area.Police on scene told ABC Action News they were able to take the skimmer into evidence after a customer at the Chase Bank at 2001 N. Dale Mabry pulled it off the drive-up ATM while getting cash out.That customer flagged an officer down and showed him the skimmer. What that customer didn¡¯t know is that undercover officers were already in pursuit of the man. Officers on scene say he was wanted by multiple agencies.The man, who has been identified as Yanier Manso Caballero from Hialeah, ditched his black Mercedes in the McDonald¡¯s parking lot next to the bank, kicked off his flip flops, and took off running as officers tried to make an arrest.The police helicopter was able to lead K-9 officers to a heat signature of a man inside a shed on West Cherry Street, about a quarter mile away from the bank. The man was taken into custody a short time later.The customer that found the skimmer told officers on scene that he saw at least two other customers get cash out before he found the skimming device. There is no information, at this point, about how long the device might have been on the ATM. 1305

TAMPA, Fla. ¡ª A middle school student in Hillsborough County, Florida was arrested on Thursday for possessing a loaded firearm on school property.Hillsborough County deputies said the 13-year-old male student brought the firearm to Dowdell Middle School on Thursday.Deputies said a witness saw the firearm in the student's backpack, then saw him place the firearm inside a large tractor tire outside of the school next to the bike rack. Tasmanian Devils are taking the next step in a ¡°rewilding¡± project that could someday bring the species back to the Australian mainland for the first time in about 3,000 years.Actor Chris Hemsworth and his wife helped release 11 into a predator-free sanctuary north of Sydney alongside conservationists. This makes nearly 30 animals in this protected space this year.Hemsworth is from Australia. Scientists will now use tracking devices and cameras to monitor how the animals do and whether they can be released into a wild environment eventually.The project is being called #DevilComeback.Tasmanian Devils were once found in Australia, but are now only found in the wild on the island of Tasmania.According to the preservation group Aussie Ark, the animals went extinct in Australia about 3,000 years ago due to being hunted by the Dingo. There are no Dingos in Tasmania, and the Tasmanian Devil is the island¡¯s top predator.However, in 1996, scientists detected an infectious cancer affecting the Tasmanian Devil population. Roughly 90 percent of the population has died as the disease spread rapidly, according to Aussie Ark.Since then, Aussie Ark has created a breeding center for the animals. The 30 animals being released in the latest project came from this center.Tasmanian Devils prefer open forests and woodlands, and are more scavengers than hunters. They have a short life span, 5-to-6 years in the wild and about 8 years in captivity. 1455

Television and film actress Selma Blair announced that she has been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis.In an Instagram post Saturday, the "Cruel Intentions" actress revealed she was diagnosed in August, and is facing the effects of the disease everyday.I am disabled. The banana phone is back.A startup that licenses the Nokia phone brand has unveiled a new version of the 8110, a curved mobile phone that was first released in 1996 and featured in "The Matrix."The phone, which is offered in banana yellow and black, will sell for €79 (). It comes loaded with a new version of the game Snake, Finnish startup HMD said in a statement."This is a return to the glory years of Nokia," said Ian Fogg, senior analyst at IHS Markit. "But it also includes all the new technology."The 8110 comes with 4G, and a handful of apps including Google Maps, Facebook and Twitter. But it doesn't have a flashy operating system and users won't be able to download other popular apps.Fogg said that basic -- or "feature" -- phones are appealing because they are reliable, and can run for a long time on a single charge. The 8110 goes 25 days in standby mode, for example.Nokia used to be the world's largest maker of mobile phones, but it struggled to adapt to the era of smartphones and compete with the likes of Apple and Samsung.Microsoft purchased the company's handset business in 2013, but later unwound the deal.
