Officials are investigating a deadly plane crash near 7th Street and Deer Valley Road on Monday morning. The FAA says the aircraft involved is a single-engine, home-built Acroduster. It reportedly crashed in the intersection around 6:50 a.m. under unknown circumstances. One person was killed and another was injured, according to Phoenix aviation officials. Phoenix Fire says they took the surviving victim, a man, to the hospital in critical condition. Video from the scene showed emergency crews working around debris in the roadway near several damaged cars. Police told media on scene the vehicles had substantial damage but no one on the ground was hurt. The area is shut down to drivers and there is no estimated time to reopen. OCEANSIDE, Calif. (KGTV) -- A bicyclist was seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle in Oceanside Wednesday afternoon. According to the Oceanside Police Department, the crash happened around 4:18 on State Route 76 at Old Grove. When officers arrived, they found the man lying in the street. He was taken to the hospital with a serious head injury. OCEANSIDE, Calif. (KGTV) -- A man was hit and killed by a train while crossing the tracks in Oceanside Saturday night.According to the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department, the man was hit around 11:20 p.m. on the 200 block of Surfrider Way. Deputies say the southbound train was traveling 55 miles per hour when the engineer spotted a man duck under the pedestrian crossing guard and try to run across the track. On Thursday, Louisville Metro Council passed a no-confidence resolution against Mayor Greg Fischer and gave him a list of ways to earn back the community's trust.According to CNN, the amended resolution passed 22-4.Instead of firing the mayor, the Council gave Fischer a list of actions he can work on to "restore trust between the residents of Louisville Metro and its government and ensure the safety and equality of all its residents."The list includes:Address policing policy, social inequality, environmental inequality, and economic inequality to council members, the business community, and the non-profit sectorWork with the Kentucky Attorney General to ensure the "complete investigative findings" of Breonna Taylor's death, David McAtee's death, and the civil unrest that followed are shared with the public after the investigation.
