Fears of a trade war between the United States and China just escalated again.The Trump administration on Tuesday published a list of about 1,300 Chinese exports that could be targeted for tariffs.The United States plans to apply the tariffs to about billion worth of goods to punish China for its theft of trade secrets, including software, patents and other technology. A 25% tariff would be applied to all the products, according to the US Trade Representative, a wing of the White House.Many of the tariffs would target the Chinese aerospace, tech and machinery industries. They found human feces.The owner of Boombox CrossFit North, Brittani Ramirez, said she was in shock when she heard over the phone, "I didn't believe her; I was like no, we get dogs back there all the time, like I'm sure it was just a stray dog."When she looked back at their security footage, it showed a man walking up to the back door, wiggling the handle, then walking to the corner of the lot, pulling down his pants and defecating.The footage showed it was 3:30 p.m., just an hour before class started."One of my amazing members Lacey stepped in, she gloved up, got some trash bags, she got some bleach, and Katie, one of my coaches, the two of them handled the business," Ramirez said.A health concern for everyone involved. Ramirez said this isn't her first unpleasant experience with homeless, she said they've been stopping in over the three years Boombox has been open."They walk in and they see it's obviously very different in here but still a lot of them are mentally ill or on drugs so they don't quite understand," Ramirez said before she bought the building, it was a redevelopment center for homeless and convicts. The former facility was there for more than 30 years.Ramirez hopes the city can do something to help them. At the gym, she's planning to lock the gate each day to make sure there is no more unwanted surprises.The Deputy City Manager, William Wolfe, said the city's reunited 50-60 homeless people with their families who are now caring for them. He said he is meeting with local business owners Thursday night to talk about forming a homeless task force. He said the city already has a Quality of Life Team, made up of local leaders to address these issues and seek out solutions. If a business owner has an issue with homeless, Wolfe said they should call him.Ramirez opened Boombox after rediscovering her love for fitness. She played basketball, volleyball and softball in her youth and after having children she wanted to rekindle that fire. Federal authorities said the man arrested in connection to sending explosive devices to multiple politicians and a media outlet is charged with five federal crimes.Cesar Sayoc, 56, faces 58 years in prison, Attorney General Jeff Sessions said today. (KGTV) -- Police in Escondido have made an arrest in connection with a cold case homicide that happened in 1986.Police said at a news conference that Nathan Eugene Mathis, 62, was arrested for the 1986 murder of 75-year-old Richard Finney.According to police, Finney was stabbed more than 30 times at his apartment on November 13, 1986.The case was reopened in 2007 by a retired detective and FBI agent. After reopening the case, authorities say they were able to come up with a blood profile."We made a promise to that family several years ago that we'd do everything we could to solve the brutal slaying of their 75-year-old grandfather," said Chuck Gaylor, a cold case investigator. During the news conference, police said blood and a fingerprint found at the scene matched Mathis.Mathis was arrested after police obtained a search warrant.Finney's family says they are glad justice is finally being served. "Never thought the day would come. It's been 32 years so finally to have this happen is just fabulous! Federal authorities have taken a man into custody who claims to be the last person to see a missing Georgia woman, whose 2-year-old son was found wandering alone last month in a shirt and diaper at a South Florida parking lot.Federal authorities arrested Shanon Demar Ryan on two counts of lying to a federal officer, according to an online jail booking log for the Broward County Sheriff's Office.It was not immediately clear if the arrest had any connection to the disappearance of Leila Cavett, the 21-year-old mother whose child was found July 26 in Miramar. 570
