CINCINNATI, Ohio — Body camera videos from the two police officers sent to investigate a 911 call from a teenager trapped inside a mini-van in a school parking lot don't show the officers exit their patrol car.The two videos show about three minutes of the search for Kyle Plush from two different perspectives. Police previously said the officers spent about 11 minutes searching. Plush's gold Honda Odyssey is not visible in the video.Plush, 16, called 911 twice on the afternoon of April 10. Officers Edsel Osborn and Brian Brazile, riding double as Unit 2232, responded to the school after his first call.Police said the officers didn't find anything, and received no answer when they tried calling Plush. The body camera videos, which police released Friday in response to a public records request, show the officers driving around a parking lot, but never getting out of their vehicle.The videos show the officers turn into the parking lot south of the Seven Hills School Resale Shop. Plush's van was parked in the lot north of the shop, on the same side of Red Bank Road. COLLEGE AREA (KGTV) - A former San Diego State University student was arrested for arson on Saturday, according to university police.Madelyn Delarosa is reportedly connected to a string of fires within the College Area. Campus police arrested Delarosa on Saturday morning after, they say, she started a fire in a parking garage. The fire reignited Saturday night. Students were evacuated from the Granada on Hardy Apartments both times. Police say Delarosa's crimes started on Thursday, March 14th, around 11 a.m., when a university police officer spotted a parked vehicle on fire near the 5500 block of Hardy Avenue. The officer successfully extinguished the fire, police said. There were no injuries.Officers were then notified of another fire involving the exterior door of an apartment in the 5600 block of Hardy Avenue, according to a police press release. That fire was extinguished before crews arrived and no one was injured.On Friday, March 15th, at around 8:30 a.m., community members notified police of another fire involving an apartment near the 5500 block of Montezuma Road. There were no injuries, and the fire went out on its own. Delarosa was arrested for possession of arson materials, arson of an inhabited structure, and arson to property. COVINGTON, Ky. -- At least three Northern Kentucky school districts will be closed Monday after state lawmakers rushed through a pension overhaul plan.Covington Independent, Boone County and Kenton County schools confirmed they'll be closed April 2.Covington spokesperson Deb Vance said 180 of 271 teachers called to say they're taking a personal day on Monday. The day will have to be made up later, she said. In Boone County, Superintendent Randy Poe said a day off will let teachers and families travel to Frankfort."Drastic times call for drastic action," Poe said in a letter to parents. "Although closing school is the last thing anyone wants to do, one of the reasons for this decision to close school is because educators feel one of their main responsibilities is to advocate for the children of the Commonwealth."The bill passed Thursday night preserves benefits for current retirees. Most benefits for current workers would also be preserved, but sick days would be capped after this year and will not be applied toward retirement. Some teachers would also have to increase the amount they pay to fund retiree health.However, future teachers would not be guaranteed a set pension when they retire, and would instead use a hybrid 401(k) plan that requires them to contribute more. 1298
