A year and a half after the company removed artificial colors and flavors from its Trix cereal, it's bringing them back."Classic Trix" -- the bright, rainbow version from your childhood -- will hit shelves in October, the company announced Thursday.The news was first reported by the Wall Street Journal.The all-natural Trix -- called "No, No, No" Trix -- will still be available to consumers who want to cut factory-made dyes from their diet. That version gets its more muted coloring from fruit and vegetable juices and spice extracts, like turmeric and annatto, which is derived from the achiote tree.General Mills announced in 2015 that it would remove artificial flavors and colors from all its cereals."We're simply listening to consumers and these ingredients are not what people are looking for in their cereal today," Jim Murphy, president of the company's cereal division, said in a statement at the time.The changes to Trix took effect in January, 2016.But fans of that earlier recipe for Trix believe they were misheard."Our Trix fans have been calling us, emailing us and reaching out to us on social media asking if we would consider bringing back the original formulation of Trix cereal with its vibrant colors. SPRING VALLEY (CNS) - A 61-year-old man shot a female relative in the leg during an argument Sunday afternoon in Spring Valley.The woman, whose identity was withheld, was struck in the left leg just before 4 p.m. at 1605 Presioca St., said San Diego County sheriff Sgt. Elizabeth Montoya.Danny Goodman was detained by deputies for the shooting and a weapon was recovered at the scene, a sergeant said. The relationship of the two was not immediately explained.The woman was taken to Scripps Mercy Hospital for treatment. (KGTV) — Video captured Friday showed another bluff failure in the Solana Beach area, weeks after a series of small bluff collapses.Kelly Nelle captured a small bluff failure at a site that appeared taped off due to a previous bluff collapse. No one was injured.Several parts of Fletcher Cove were taped off in August as sandstone tumbled about 75 feet down to the beach. It isn't clear if Friday's collapse was at the same site, but the area was already taped off and appeared to have a pile of sediment at the base of the cliff side.In late August, Torrey Pines beach goers were warned of bluff collapses after a section fell to the ground. In early August, a massive section of rock fell in Encinitas, killing three people.As temperatures rise and bring more locals out to the coast, officials cautioned visitors to walk 25 - 40 feet away from all bluffs and not to walk around barricades because large rocks could still fall.Video from Friday showed some smaller rocks falling before the larger section fell onto the Solana Beach spot. 1068
