After years of development, the Forum has seen its outcomes spreading across Africa and truly benefiting the African people. At last year's FOCAC Beijing Summit, eight major initiatives were adopted. Their implementation have become part and parcel of the cooperation between China and Africa under the Belt and Road Initiative, as well as implementation of the AU's Agenda 2063 and the UN's 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, and the development strategies of African countries. The eight major initiatives have been warmly received by African countries. China and Africa are working together to implement them as quickly as we can.
Wang said that mutual trust between the two sides has become increasingly unbreakable and the bilateral relations have become more solid.
"Closer culture and tourism ties will bring closer contact and better understanding between the peoples of the two Asian countries," he told Xinhua.
"The groundless accusations are criticisms of the United States itself," said Wu, adding that the United States is in no position to judge other countries given its increasing military spending and poor records in cyber espionage, as well as other military issues.
"The joint exercise is a normal military exchange arrangement of the three countries. It is in line with related international laws and practices, and has no connection with regional situation," Wu said.
