Players like Abigail Tofoya, who traveled from to California to Colorado for a girls rugby camp.“It’s a sisterhood; it’s a bond,” she says. “You develop so many friendships through this.”In 2014, the Sports and Fitness Industry Association reported rugby as the fastest growing team sport in the U.S., with participation growing by 350 percent in a five-year period.“Rugby, it gives me that very competitive edge,” says rugby player Lena Luciano.To gain that competitive edge, players are learning from the best rugby minds the country has to offer. Getting top-level tips from coaches like Jaime Burke, who represented her country while playing for the U.S. Women’s National Team in three Women’s Rugby World Cups.“It’s much different than when I first started out,” she says. “At this point, we have pretty much year-round programming from U8 all the way through U15.”Attracting a bigger audience, however, doesn’t come without concern.“Her daughter wanted my daughter to play and I was like, ‘No way! Two weeks after being grounded by the FAA, a Boeing 737 Max airplane en route from Orlando, Florida, to Victorville, California, had to return to Orlando International Airport to make an emergency landing Tuesday afternoon, the Associated Press reported. The jet, which was being shuttled to California for storage, only had two pilots on board. The jet belongs to Southwest Airlines, according to the AP.The Boeing 737 Max was grounded by US officials two weeks ago following the second deadly crash involving the series of planes. The AP reported that the emergency was not related to a glitch in the anti-stall software, which investigators believe caused the two previous planes to crash. On March 13, the FAA released a statement that said, "The grounding (of Boeing 737 Max planes) will remain in effect pending further investigation, including examination of information from the aircraft’s flight data recorders and cockpit voice recorders. WASHINGTON, D.C. -- When the Senate gathers for the next phase of the impeachment process, they will be acting as a de-facto jury -- but this trial phase wouldn’t look like a regular trial.“The Senate has specific rules on how impeachment trials are to be conducted. Those rules can be changed,” said Alan Morrison, an associate dean at the George Washington University Law School.He said how the impeachment trial is conducted will be up to Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell.“He's largely in control,” Morrison said.How would it all look?For one thing, Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts would preside over the impeachment trial, though any rulings from him could be overturned by a simple majority of senators. The “prosecutors” – known as managers – would likely be made up of House Democrats and would present their case.
