If she had to give education funding an overall grade, she says it’d be a D or an F.Miller came from a rural public school in Arkansas to the Washington Leadership Academy, a public charter in D.C. She says the difference in zip code is night vs day, and it shouldn’t be that way."Schools and students should be funded based on their need and not necessarily because you're at this zip code or you have this kind of family background or this kind of economic status,” Miller says. According to research by the Education Trust, students who live in lower income areas get about ,800 fewer tax dollars per student.Dr. Reed-Marshall says tax dollars drive education dollars. She believes there needs to be equal distribution of the tax dollars to raise the U.S. to the top of the ranks and in order to create an even and quality playing field, regardless of where students live. 1919

Bush, is emerging as a consensus candidate to succeed Jeff Sessions as attorney general, two sources familiar with President Donald Trump's thinking tell CNN.A third source familiar with the process said if Trump offered the position to Barr, he would be willing to accept.Trump's consideration of a new attorney general comes during a critical time for special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation, of which the next Justice Department chief will inherit oversight. "Stressed out now and just didn't need it."In February, Madden was served with a lawsuit from a debt collection company.During an interview with 10 News that month Madden said he needed to borrow money a few years ago to keep his car. He turned to a lender that could get him money quickly."I figured it was going to be a high-interest rate, like 22% or something," he said. "I started making the payments on it, and then I found out more about it."Madden admits he didn't do a great job getting all the details when he took the money, saying the interest rate wasn't clear. When he finally did look at the fine print, he saw the interest rate was 135%. When Coral Springs police officers arrived at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, on Feb. 14 in the midst of the school shooting crisis, many officers were surprised to find not only that Broward County Sheriff's Deputy Scot Peterson, the armed school resource officer, had not entered the building, but that three other Broward County Sheriff's deputies were also outside the school and had not entered, Coral Springs sources tell CNN.
