Ignatius Carroll told WPLG that a palm tree under the window helped slow the speed of the child's fall early Monday. She landed in some bushes. Some are marketing PPE that is supposed to work better but does not.In one case, people were receiving flyers in the mail that instructed them to go to a URL that was supposed to be for coronavirus relief but instead it was a ploy for a used car business to get potential customers. The car dealership even sent fake checks with the flyers, stating it was money from the CARES Act for a new vehicle.According to U.S. PIRG, most people who’ve been scammed have lost around 0 on average.
