SUNNYVALE, Calif. – A United Parcel Service (UPS) worker was planning a mass shooting at the facility he worked at in California, according to the Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety. The department says it learned of the threat Sunday after receiving a report that 32-year-old Thomas Andrews had sent text messages to his employer, threatening the shooting. Officers began investigating and discovered Andrews was the registered owner of four handguns and rifle. Law enforcement then began an extensive search for him.
