BEIJING, Aug. 17 (Xinhua) -- The top legislature of China will convene its bi-monthly session from Aug. 29 to Sept. 3, according to a statement issued after a chairpersons' meeting Wednesday.
Xi also pledged at the summit that Beijing will do its best to raise investment in the least developed countries (LDCs) to 12 billion dollars by 2030, Xi said, and exempt the debt of the outstanding intergovernmental interest-free loans due by the end of 2015 owed by the relevant LDCs, landlocked developing countries and small island developing countries.
Earlier on Friday, Wang held talks with Thomson on all-round cooperation.
The meeting passed a string of policies concerning green finance, intellectual property rights, resource allocation and poverty relief, among others.
Wang said that the foreign ministers' meeting, held at a time when bilateral relations between China, Japan and South Korea were all faced with obstacles, maintained the keynote and momentum of trilateral cooperation.
