SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- Police believe a couple found dead in a Torrey Highlands home Saturday night was killed by their son. According to police, the couple was expected in San Francisco earlier in the day, but they never showed up.When police arrived at the home on the 7400 block of Via Rivera in Torrey Highlands just before 10 p.m. Saturday, they saw the body of a person through a window of the home. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- One of San Diego's most famous malls is poised for a multi-million dollar renovation. On Wednesday, Fashion Valley will announce a project to add what it describes as inviting public spaces, enriched landscaping, broader dining and gathering places, tranquil outdoor lounges and water features, and increased personal shopping and valet services. It's the mall's biggest project since it added a second story in the mid-1990s. Vicki Hanor, a senior vice president with Simon Malls, said in a statement Fashion Valley is home to more than 50 retailers exclusive to San Diego, and prides itself on providing the ultimate shopping and dining experience. San Diego (KGTV) -- North County parents and students are voicing safety concerns after the Vista school board voted 3-2 not to restore law enforcement at school sites next year. The Vista Unified School District made its decision early Friday morning despite backlash from some parents."We seem to need constant reminders so we've had Columbine, Parkland, Sandy Hook, and on a day we're pleading for safety another tragedy hits," one parent told 10News.The parent was referring to Thursday's shooting at Saugus High School just north of Los Angeles. A student gunned down a group of teens on campus killing a 16-year-old girl and a 14-year-old boy. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - Police have confirmed that the 19-year-old woman shot near Sunset Cliffs Thursday morning was targeted. Police told 10News they received a call at about 7:10 a.m. from a person who spotted a bleeding woman lying on a staircase next to the beach off Ladera Street, near Sunset Cliffs Boulevard.Responding officers arrived and found the woman with multiple gunshot wounds.The 19-year-old was taken to UC San Diego Medical Center. Police said Thursday afternoon that the woman is in stable condition and was able to tell police she had no idea what happened.Police said they do not have any information on a suspected shooter at this time.Police told 10News they have not been able to find anyone who heard gunshots or saw what might have happened. 792

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - Planned Parenthood officials say a recent act of vandalism at their Pacific Beach location will not "stop us from serving our patients."Red paint appeared to be thrown across the location's sign and windows on Mission Bay Drive sometime between late Sunday afternoon and Monday. A photo of crews cleaning the site was captured by a Reddit user and posted online here.In a statement to 10News, Planned Parenthood said the vandalism would not affect operations:"While we are disappointed by the recent vandalism to our health center, no attempt at intimidation will stop us from serving our patients.
