CARLSBAD, Calif. (KGTV) -- Police have identified the suspects who reportedly attacked a Carlsbad woman, stabbing her to death during an attempted burglary Monday morning. According to police, Ian Bushee, 37, and Malissa James, 26, who are both transients, were arrested on the 4800 block of Park Drive Monday. Both are on probation in San Bernardino for residential burglary. Police say Bushee was arrested for homicide, burglary, conspiracy, auto theft and accessory after the fact. She was taken to the hospital but died from her injuries at Scripps La Jolla Hospital about an hour later.After the incident, police say both Bushee and James fled the scene in the victim’s vehicle. CAMP PENDLETON, Calif. (KGTV) - Fire crews responded Thursday to a fire on Camp Pendleton near the Hotel training area, North County Fire reported. The so-called Weisgarber Fire scorched at least 120 acres one mile west of the DeLuz Gate by Thursday night, Cal Fire said. Crews were able to get the fire 40 percent contained by around 7 p.m. By 10 p.m., base officials said that crews stopped the fire's forward rate of spread.North County Fire officials said the flames posed no threat to Fallbrook or the surrounding area. As of 6:45 a.m. Friday, Cal Fire officials said the fire was 100 percent contained and was stopped at 120 acres burned.There is no word on the cause of the fire. 695
