Worshipers around the country are finding creative ways to practice their religion together at safe distances amid the COVID-19 pandemic.While some churches have turned to the internet to stream video of their services online, others are turning to an activity from the past – the drive-in. Like the drive-in movie theaters that were widely popular in the 20th century, people are attending services from their cars, in the parking lots of their churches. DETROIT — In September 2017, Phil Corsi went to the doctor complaining about pain after eating. He got a diagnosis he never expected. “I had a large lymphoma that had become cancerous,” Phil said. He had three heart attacks and two strokes and cancer twice, and that’s why I entered into manufacturing e-juice.”The family business is now eLiquidTech, located outside Maryland. “I’d like to try and help people with their nicotine dependence with a safer alternative,” he said.When it comes to the safety of vaping, the Centers for Disease Control says almost 1,500 people around the country with a reported a history of vaping have been hospitalized with acute lung illnesses.
