Those should be sent no later Dec. 11 (for cards, letters and priority mail packages) and Dec. 18 (for priority mail express military service, available to most destinations.)USPS has also created military care kits, including several free postal items, to help send packages overseas. The organization sends a variety of holiday care packages that can support up to 50 troops a piece depending on the option chosen. (KGTV) -- The U.S. Geological Survey says a pair of earthquakes struck Costa Rica's Pacific Coast Friday evening, including magnitude 6.0 temblor. There were no immediate reports of damage.The first quake was reported at 11:22 p.m. and was centered in the port town of Golfito on the southern Pacific Coast, according to USGS.The jolt was followed by a smaller but strong magnitude 4.9 quake centered in San Vito, about 40 miles east of Golfito. (KGTV/CNS) - Evacuation orders remained in effect Tuesday in light of a fast-moving wildfire that erupted in the Cleveland National Forest the day before.The blaze dubbed the Holy Fire, is five percent contained and has burned at least 3,399 acres as of Tuesday evening, according to the U.S. Forest Service. The acreage was downgraded due to more accurate mapping, officials with the Cleveland National Forest said.
