An arrest has been made after authorities say a driver intentionally rammed another car in Southern California, killing three teenage boys and injuring three others. The California Highway Patrol says the Toyota Prius was hit Sunday night in Temescal Valley, went off the road and slammed into a tree. Three boys died and three had moderate injuries. A witness followed the other car and CHP officers arrested 42-year-old Anurag Chandra of Corona in a neighborhood near the accident scene. He was booked on suspicion of murder with malice. BROOMFIELD, Colo. – Police in Broomfield, Colorado, responded to the Walmart Tuesday afternoon after shots were reportedly fired inside of the store, Sgt Steve Griebel of the Broomfield Police said. Griebel said a suspect was in custody and no injuries were reported.Video from the scene showed at least 10 police cars and two fire trucks in front of the Walmart, and the front door of the business had been cordoned off with police tape. CAIRO — Egypt's state TV says the country's former President Hosni Mubarak, ousted in the 2011 Arab Spring uprising, has died at 91. The TV says Mubarak died at a Cairo hospital where he had recently undergone surgery. The report said he had health complications but offered no other details. Mubarak, who was in power for almost three decades, was forced to resign on Feb. 11, 2011, after following 18 days of protests around the country. The Arab Spring uprisings had convulsed autocratic regimes across the Middle East. Atlanta’s mayor says two police officers have been fired and three placed on desk duty pending review over excessive use of force during a protest incident Saturday night.Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms said at a news conference Sunday that she and police Chief Erika Shields made the decision after reviewing body-camera footage. Shields called it “really shocking to watch.”Officials say the incident came to light via video that circulated online.It shows a group of police officers in riot gear and gas masks surround a car being driven by a man with a woman in the passenger seat.
