"China is willing to enhance political mutual trust and maintain the right direction of bilateral ties," Xi told Sobotka, calling on both sides to take the signing of MOU as an opportunity to expand cooperation.

The two documents, Xi said, would also inject fresh impetus to the comprehensive development of China-Africa ties, and provide a strong spiritual guide and political guarantee for the two sides to conduct mutually beneficial cooperation in more areas and on higher levels.

China will also help other developing countries build up their financing capabilities for dealing with climate change, Xi added.
