Friends of Jamal Khashoggi, the dissident Saudi journalist killed in disputed circumstances in his country's consulate in Istanbul, have demanded that authorities in Riyadh produce his remains. After nearly three weeks in which it denied anything untoward had happened on in its diplomatic premises in Turkey, Saudi Arabia admitted Khashoggi had died but claimed it was the accidental result of a brawl.Turkish officials privately believe he was dismembered, and Saudi authorities have failed to produce his body or say where they where they believe it to be. All they would admit was that officials engaged in a cover-up.Speaking to reporters outside Saudi Arabia's Istanbul consulate Saturday, Turan Kislakci, the head of the Turkish Arab Media Association and a friend of Khashoggi, called on Saudi Arabia to hand over the journalist's body. "Give us Jamal, so we can have a funeral for him. So that all people who care about him, world leaders, can come here to Istanbul for the funeral," said Kislakci. 1014

HOG MOUNTAIN, Ga. — A Georgia mother has gone viral after she posted a photo of her son shopping at Goodwill on Facebook, explaining that she was teaching him a lesson about money.According to Cierra Brittany Forney's Facebook post, her 13-year-old son had been acting "a little... entitled" recently. "Acting like he's too good to shop at Wal-Mart or making snarky comments about kids at school who shop at the Goodwill and quite a few other things," her post reads.Forney says she doesn't tolerate that. As a result of her son's behavior, she took him to Goodwill and made him use his own to buy clothes to wear the entire week to school."I want to teach my kids that money isn't everything and if you have to degrade other people because of where they shop, then you too will shop there," she said. Her post has received praise from parents all around the nation and has been shared nearly 250,000 times. In a separate Facebook post, Forney explains that she did not share the photo to shame her son, but rather to teach him that money and name brands don't change who people are. She also explains that she shared the post with her son's permission. "He was completely fine with it and still is," she said. "My son and I have an amazing relationship.""My son learned a valuable lesson from this and I believe it is just another story we can add to our lives memory to look back on," she said. "I did this to teach him that money and name brands don't change who we are as people. He can still be the amazing, adorable, loved kid that he is WITHOUT the expensive stores!"She also explained that she loves Goodwill because of the incredible deals she has found there."I SOLELY did this to help my son become a better man," she said. "My son is completely 100 percent okay with what happened. My son has learned a valuable lesson from this AND my son is rockin' his button up shirt he bought from the Goodwill with PRIDE today!" 1959

GASLAMP QUARTER (KGTV) - A benefit was held Sunday night for a local woman injured in a parasailing accident in Mexico. On June 9th, Katie Malone was in Puerto Vallarta to celebrate her 29th birthday when tragedy struck. According to a local newspaper, Malone was parasailing when the rope tethered to a boat somehow broke and left her flying through the air.Malone crash-landed at an airport and suffered a fractured skull, fractured pelvis, broken ribs, a collapsed lung and other injuries. Donations helped pay for her treatment and life flight from Mexico back to San Diego. She spent about a month in the hospital. For the past few months, Malone has been in physical therapy and working to get stronger everyday. She says she is a year ahead of schedule."When it first happened, I just wanted to move forward and not dwell on things," Malone said. "I would do physical therapy and in between physical therapy I would do homework they gave me to do."  Malone is extremely thankful to family and friends who have been there for her and helped her move forward.Sunday night's benefit was held at "Tin Roof" in the Gaslamp Quarter. The benefit was to raise money for Malone's medical bills.Malone said she might go parasailing again, but not anytime soon. 1315

Head injuries have plagued the NFL for years. But the helmets that players wear have retained roughly the same design since the 1970s.This season, about 70 NFL players are wearing a new helmet that's a radical departure from previous iterations -- and, the league believes, safer. It won't be easy to spot when you're watching games on Sunday. The Vicis Zero1 looks a lot like other helmets. But it's designed to soften the blows to the heads of NFL players. 465

FULLERTON (CNS) - A 34-year-old Las Vegas man pleaded guilty Thursday and was immediately sentenced to six months in jail for his part in a brawl at Disneyland that was captured on video that went viral.Avery Desmond Edwin Robinson pleaded guilty to a felony count of corporal injury on a cohabitant, a count of assault with force likely to produce great bodily injury, a count of assault with a deadly weapon, two counts of criminal threats, five counts of battery and four counts of child abuse and endangerment, all misdemeanors. He accepted a plea bargain from Orange County Superior Court Judge Scott Steiner.Steiner also sentenced Robinson to perform eight hours of community service and participate in a batters' treatment program.RELATED:Children watch as adults fight at Disneyland's ToontownThree people charged in Disneyland brawl that was caught on videoTwo charged in Disneyland 'Toontown' brawl miss arraignmentHis sister, Andrea Nicole Robinson, 41, and her husband, Daman Petrie, 44, of Compton, failed to show in court and a warrant has been issued for their arrests.Robinson's sister is charged with four misdemeanor counts of battery for allegedly attacking her brother, his girlfriend and a Disneyland security guard, and a misdemeanor count of assault on her brother's girlfriend. She faces 2 1/2 years in jail if convicted.Petrie is charged with one count of battery on his brother-in-law's girlfriend, who was punched in the face during the July 5 scrum, and faces up to six months in jail if convicted, according to prosecutors. It's unclear what touched off the fight, which broke out in Toontown and sprawled out onto the theme park's Main Street, but several Disneyland visitors tried to stop it, prosecutors said. One theme park guest put Avery Robinson in a chokehold, prosecutors said, and one of the children with the family was carried away from the brawl. When security guards asked the family to leave, there was more violence, prosecutors allege. Avery Robinson is accused of attempting to hit a security guard with his vehicle as he drove away and threatening to kill his sister and Petrie as he allegedly simulated having a gun in his hand, prosecutors said. 2201
