SPRINGDALE, Utah — A woman who was missing for nearly two weeks has been found safe in Zion National Park.Authorities had been searching for 38-year-old Holly Suzanne Courtier after she didn't show up for her scheduled pickup in the park by a private shuttle on Oct. 6.She was found Sunday by search and rescue crews after rangers received a "credible tip" that a visitor had seen her in the park, the National Parks Service said. She has since been reunited with her family.“We are overjoyed that she was found safely today," Courtier's family said in a statement. "We would like to thank the rangers and search teams who relentlessly looked for her day and night and never gave up hope. We are also so grateful to the countless volunteers who were generous with their time, resources and support. This wouldn’t have been possible without the network of people who came together.”Courtier's daughter told CNN that her mother injured her head while hiking and became disoriented. "She injured her head on a tree," Chambers told CNN. "She was very disoriented as a result and thankfully ended up near a water source -- a river bed. Since the tragedy at Sandy Hook Elementary School six years ago, the way law enforcement and citizens handle these events has changed.The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has partnered with a program known as ALERRT, which stands for Advanced Law Enforcement Rapid Response Training.The program was created in order to help standardize the response to active shooters and streamline their response in a crisis. "It was important to make sure everybody received the same training, knowing that if that response occurs, it's going to be a multi-agency response,” said Nathaniel McQueen, with Delaware State Police, in an interview with CNN.But all of this occurs once police get to the scene.What about before?"On an average of three minutes, those cops are gonna show up and they are going to take that shooter's attention from you towards them,” says Gordon B. Some members of a large group of migrants who tried to rush the US border from Mexico, prompting the closure of a major border crossing in San Diego, will be deported to their home countries, according to Mexican authorities.About 500 migrants on the Mexican side of the border overwhelmed police blockades near the San Ysidro Port of Entry Sunday afternoon, two journalists at the scene in Tijuana told CNN.Tijuana police arrested 39 people in connection with the attempt to cross the border illegally, the agency said in a statement on Facebook.It said they would be reported to Mexican immigration authorities.Mexico's Interior Ministry earlier said those identified as having tried to cross would be processed for deportation to their home countries. 762
