WUHAN, Dec. 28 (Xinhua) - Chinese courts would seek to create their own management system for authenticating judicial evidence within the next five years, said Su Zelin, vice president of the Supreme People's Court.Su made the remarks Monday during a meeting held in Wuhan, capital of central China's Hubei Province.The proposed system, which would further clarify the courts' working procedures and protocols while examining and verifying authenticated evidence, would be based on the current system administered by the Ministry of Justice, said Su.The Supreme People's Court plans to build its own forensic lab and relevant specialist pool to ensure the neutrality and authenticity of evidence used in court proceedings, Su added.

BERLIN, Jan. 7 (Xinhua) -- China and Germany will ink 8.7 billion U.S. dollars worth of business deals during Chinese Vice Premier Li Keqiang's visit to Germany, Chinese Ambassador to Germany Wu Hongbo said here on Friday.Wu said at a press conference that Li was accompanied by some 120 Chinese business leaders on his current visit. The two sides are expected to sign 11 agreements and commercial contracts worth some 8.7 billion dollars, covering such fields as automobile purchase, financial cooperation, energy and machinery.Earlier on Friday, Li met with German President Christian Wulff and then held talks with Chancellor Angela Merkel.Li told the German leaders that China is a long-term and responsible player in European financial markets. BEIJING, Nov. 28 (Xinhua) -- China's top political advisor, Jia Qinglin, attended a ground-breaking ceremony for construction of Beijing Hyundai Motor's third auto plant in Shunyi District in suburban Beijing Sunday. Prior to the ceremony, Jia met with Hyundai Motor Chairman Chung Mong-koo and other guests. China and the Republic of Korea (ROK) have been upgrading relations, as well as political and cultural exchanges, since the forging of diplomatic ties in 1992, Jia noted.Trade between the two countries topped 150 billion U.S. dollars during January-September this year, up 36.7 percent year on year.
