MILFORD, Ohio -- Tiffany Stone had a feeling she wasn't going to make it to the hospital when she started going into labor with her daughter, Ember Ray. "I knew it was moving really fast, and that's when I really started feeling pressure like she was getting close, and I just so happened to have her on the road," Stone said. Stone and her husband, Patrick Stone, welcomed their third child into the world Friday morning in a parking lot in Milford, Ohio, just outside of Cincinnati."We hit a curve, and it was like she was born," Tiffany Stone said. "And right in the middle of that turn, she had the baby, caught the baby, and I looked over and almost wrecked because I couldn't believe the baby was in her arm," Patrick Stone said.He called 911, and Miami Township Fire and Police came out to assist the family and take the family to Anderson Mercy Hospital."I don't think it really becomes real until you actually see the baby," Tiffany Stone said. "I mean, you go through all the motions and pregnancy sickness, but once the baby is actually on you and on your chest, it's the most incredible, it's just a beautiful miracle. It's the most beautiful thing."Ember was born a healthy 6.5 lbs. girl. "She was born on Good Friday, and you know, it's a really good, happy day today," Tiffany Stone said. 1331

MANITOWOC, Wis. – Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden made a campaign stop in Wisconsin on Monday. The former vice president delivered a speech in Manitowoc, during which he accused President Donald Trump of only having the best interest of his supporters in mind. In contrast, Biden said he would be a president for all Americans, even those who don't support him.Watch the event below:Biden also spoke about the COVID-19 pandemic as the country’s death toll from the coronavirus approaches 200,000. The events marks Biden's second trip to the swing state this year and it comes just days after Trump held a rally there. Democrats are hoping to win the traditionally blue state back in November, four years after Republicans carried it by fewer than 23,000 votes. The stop also came after the death of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, which has turned the general election on its head. 908
Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel says President Donald Trump's personal attorney Rudy Giuliani "embarrassed the state" on Wednesday in a Michigan House Oversight Committee Wednesday night in which he again attempted to overturn the results of the 2020 election in the state. The meeting featured Giuliani questioning witnesses he brought, as well as unverified and false claims regarding election fraud in the city of Detroit.Nessel, a Democrat, said that Republican members of the committee "embarrassed our state and defamed Michigan's most populous city."Nessel also called on Michigan Republican Party Chair Laura Cox to "put up or shut up" and instead take the evidence Republicans say they have of election fraud to her office for investigation. While Trump has been attempting for several weeks to overturn the results of the election citing widespread voter fraud, his legal team has presented little evidence to support his claim.Attorney General Bill Barr, one of Trump's staunchest defenders, said this week that the DOJ uncovered no evidence of widespread fraud that would change the election results.Several witnesses presented by Giuliani Wednesday say they saw irregularities and fraud while counting ballots at Detroit's TCF Center after polls closed. There is no evidence that proves those claims, and judges have ruled against lawsuits that argued the same claims brought in front of the committee.Giuliani also claimed as he has for weeks that thousands of votes were cast illegally despite offering no evidence to support his claim.Michigan has already certified the results of the November election, with president-elect Joe Biden winning the state by more than 150,000 votes. This story was originally published by Max White on WXYZ in Detroit. 1776
