(KGTV) - Residents in one Imperial Beach neighborhood are hoping surveillance video will help put an end to an "endless" cycle of graffiti.In an alley off 14th Street, Gary Copeland looks at his neighbor's brand new fence and can only shake his head."It's disgusting we have to look at all this graffiti," said Copeland.On Monday around 4:30 a.m., a neighbor's motion-activated camera captured a man in a cap shaking a can of spray paint. In the next video recorded, one can hear the sound of spray paint before the man emerges from the dark. Hours later and blocks away, a camera in another alley captured a man without a cap spray-painting a similar tag on the wall of another home."It's a nuisance is what it is," said Copeland.Copeland's family has lived at his home for some four decades."You can see they've tagged my wall a few times. We've repainted, but they came back and re-tagged it," said Copeland.Copeland says his wall has been hit three times in the past six months."It's never-ending deal ... there's always tagging. Up and down the alley all these fences are tagged ... Hurricane Lane's outer bands have been pummeling Hawaii's Big Island with rain Thursday, triggering landslides and threatening serious flooding as the Category 4 cyclone moves perilously close to the Aloha State.The center of the storm — which could become the first major cyclone to make landfall in the state in 26 years — is expected to move very close to the main islands or cross land Thursday through Friday, forecasters said.It could be so devastating that authorities are urging residents to set aside two weeks' worth of food and water."Be prepared to shelter in place with 14 days of food supplies and water and any other necessities," Hawaii Gov. IMPERIAL BEACH (KGTV) - Medical examiners identified the body found floating off-shore in Imperial Beach as 29-year-old Zabiullah Rahmani.Rahmani leaves behind a wife of nearly ten years and two 7-year-old twin daughters. Ramzia Rahmani tells 10News, "I can say it was horrible and it still is." Less than a week since she lost her husband and the feelings are still raw, "The fire is burning in my chest whenever I see my girls ask about their father. It'ss too hard to face their questions, it's hard to answer their questions about their dad."She tells 10News, her husband left Saturday night to hangout with friends down in Imperial Beach. She says he was planning to be home for midnight but the hours after turned into Monday, "The doorbell rang and I saw there was two police officers and I felt bad. I thought maybe something happened to my husband." Thinking something bad but never imagining it would end up being her worst nightmare, "It's hard for me to believe hes not with me anymore." Thankfully she has support from family members like Zabi's cousin, "I'll try my best to be like a father to Zabi's kids and treat them the same way I treat my kids."
