As the number of lung illness cases involving people who vape continues to grow, one city is telling people to stop using immediately.Now, vaping company Juul says it’s making it harder for younger people to buy their e-cigarettes.Sixteen people were hospitalized in Wisconsin with chemical pneumonia that doctors believe was caused by vaping. There have been 200 cases across the country.Despite the FDA declaring teen vaping as an epidemic, the Consumer Advocates for Smoke-Free Alternatives Association (CASAA) says vaping is still a better option than smoking."Flavorings and the base ingredients in e-liquid products made with nicotine are all alcohol base; those products don't cause this lipoid pneumonia,” says Alex Clark with CASAA.However, Clark says the problem causing these lung issues comes from users buying THC-filled cartridges from underground dealers.CASAA believes the black market manufacturers could be putting dangerous chemicals into illegal vaping products.This week, Juul’s CEO Kevin Burns told CBS This Morning these health reports are worrisome.The company announced it’s working with e-cigarette vendors to implement an ID verification system that prohibits cashiers from selling to underage shoppers and limits the amount customers can buy.Clark says he’s concerned more restriction on vaping products could lead to bigger problems. BRANDON, Fla. — A toddler has died after he was accidentally run over by his father driving an SUV in the parking lot of a Waffle House on Tuesday night. The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office said the 3-year-old boy and his parents were leaving the Waffle House in Brandon around 9:45 p.m.According to deputies, the toddler's father and mother mistakenly thought the other had placed him inside their 2007 Chevy Tahoe. The toddler was transported to Brandon Hospital after his father struck him with the right front tire of the Tahoe, causing severe head injuries.Deputies said the toddler was pronounced dead at the hospital. Neither alcohol nor drugs contributed to the crash, according to HCSO. 712

At least 25 people have died in a suspected arson attack at a renowned animation studio in the Japanese city of Kyoto on Thursday, according to police.The death toll at the Kyoto Animation Co. building is expected to rise and the city's fire department said that 36 people were injured in the blaze, some critically.A Kyoto prefectural police spokesperson said a 41-year-old man suspected of carrying out the attack also had a backpack containing several knives. The suspect poured what appeared to be gasoline around the studio and set it on fire.The suspect is currently in hospital with serious burn injuries and police do not expect to be able to question him on Thursday.The fire broke out at about 10:30 a.m. local time on Thursday (9:30 p.m. ET) in the company's 1st Studio building in Kyoto's Fushimi-ku district. Barraged by hundreds of sex-abuse lawsuits, the Boy Scouts of America filed for bankruptcy protection Tuesday in hopes of working out a potentially mammoth victim compensation plan that will allow the hallowed, 110-year-old organization to carry on.
