(KGTV) - The spookiest time of the year at Disneyland isn’t always Halloween. In 2019, it comes in August, as the Haunted Mansion marks its 50th anniversary. Disney is honoring the milestone with “The Haunted Mansion: Celebrating 50 Years of Retirement Unliving.” The after-hours events will include special entertainment, character encounters, photo opportunities, themed food and drinks, unique merchandise, and what Disney describes as “a few supernatural surprises.” Event highlights include: *A 13th Hour Celebration kick-off along the Rivers of America. The “Swinging Wake” will feature Madame Leota of crystal ball fame conjuring the festivities. *Themed backdrops for photos with unlimited digital downloads of Disney PhotoPass pictures. *Limited-time Snapchat filters and event hashtags. *After-hours access to select attractions New Orleans Square, Critter Country, Frontierland and Adventureland. A 14-year-old from Port Huron, Michigan has been arrested in connection to a threatening comment made on the Instagram account of New England Patriots receiver Julian Edelman.According to a New York Times article, Edelman received a comment on an Instagram post late last month saying: "I'm going to shoot my school up watch the news."The New York Times reports that Edelman's assistant called 911 and police determined the sender's email and IP address was traced to Port Huron.The teen was brought in for questioning and admitted to making the threat. He was arrested and charged with making a false report of a threat of terrorism, a four-year felony in Michigan. Police say a search of his home turned up two rifles that belonged to the teen's mother. Port Huron detectives credited Edelman with bringing the threat forward.  857

A baboon that was being transported escaped its cage Monday afternoon and ran loose in San Antonio International Airport, officials said.An airport spokesman said the baboon was cornered in the baggage handling area of Terminal B.American Airlines released a statement, saying the baboon was being taken to an animal sanctuary and refuge in the San Antonio area."We are working closely with the San Antonio Aviation Department and officials from the San Antonio Zoo. Officials from the zoo are now on-site to ensure his safety and well-being as he continues his journey to his new home at the primate sanctuary," the statement read.The baboon arrived on a flight from Chicago, according to American and CNN affiliate KSAT.No passengers or flights have been affected.
