Panic shopping has cleared out the shelves, meaning she often has to replace a customer’s orders with a lesser item or notify them that it’s not available.Grozdina, who makes an hour and doesn’t get tips, said the crowds of fellow Instacart shoppers have made it tough to keep a safe distance while racing to fulfill orders. Grozdina said she wears a mask to work that she bought herself and immediately showers when she gets home.Among their demands, the strike organizers want hazard pay of an order and supplies of hand sanitizer, wipes and cleaning supplies free of charge. On Sunday, the company said it had contracted with a third-party manufacturer to make a hand sanitizer spray that workers can request at no cost via a website starting Monday, with shipments starting in a few days.Data show online grocery orders jumping even before some cities and states imposed “stay at home” orders. A Waste Management worker’s act of kindness is bringing tears to the eyes of many people after video of it was posted to Facebook.Colette Kingston posted the Ring doorbell footage Wednesday, and it has since received hundreds of shares.Kingston wrote in the post that her mother fell at her Independence, Missouri, home in January while trying to roll her trash can back up the driveway. The same worker captured in the video was there when it happened, Kingston said.“Ever since, he has brought the can back up the driveway for mom,” Kingston wrote.In the video, the pair strikes up a conversation as they walk back up the drive, holding hands.“You’re looking good! Often, what looks like a free offer has fine print that results in a consumer getting unwanted products which are charged to your debit or credit cards.The internet and social media are filled with "free trial" offers promising you a chance to get a free product for a small shipping charge.However, the BBB found that many times people are not reading the fine print, which can be misleading and says a person is actually subscribing to receive products over time.Some New York victims have lost hundreds of dollars. And the problem is growing.
