And though the total cost has not been tallied, people there say you can’t put a price tag on the park.“It’s like losing a loved one,” Bonilla said.While locals can’t replace the history that was lost during these wildfires, they’re still somehow optimistic about the future.“Just when it looked like the darkest time possible for the San Lorenzo Valley, we’re still standing here,” said local radio DJ, Sam Peacock.They're standing tall after flames burned the trees to the ground, because eventually, new life will sprout up even after this disaster.“It just shows that don’t underestimate Mother Nature,” Bonilla said. 1823

(KGTV) - The Ventura County Sheriff’s Department detailed the circumstances leading deputies to search Tuesday the Thousand Oaks home of actress Heather Locklear.The actress was arrested at her home February 25 on suspicion of felony domestic battery and three counts of battery on a peace officer.Locklear told deputies she would shoot them if they ever came to her house again, investigators said.According to the search warrant, deputies looked for a firearm Locklear has registered in her name but did not find it on the property.Locklear is scheduled to appear in court March 13. 614

While the virus had been recorded in five other countries — including five cases in the U.S. — there had been no deaths recorded outside of China.In its Jan. 31 declarations, the WHO did not recommend any travel or trade restrictions, but urged countries to prepare for containment and "place emphasis on reducing human infection, prevention of secondary transmission and international spread."The organization issued its recommendation 10 days after China reported that the virus appeared to be spreading from person-to-person, a finding that indicated the disease could have far-reaching implications.
