MEXICO CITY, May 18 (Xinhua) -- The Mexican government signed an agreement with the non-governmental group TRAFFIC on Tuesday to exchange information about illegal seizures of flora and fauna species in Mexico.The agreement with the wildlife trade monitoring network also called for the Mexican government to provide information on the routes used to transport such organic materials.The agreement was signed on the sideline of the 16th meeting of the Trilateral Committee for Wildlife and Ecosystem Conservation Management in the city of Oaxaca, south Mexico. Representatives of Canada, the United States and Mexico also attended the meeting.Among the list of 20,000 animals, vegetation and insects that TRAFFIC considers to be threatened by illegal trafficking worldwide, 2,500 of the organisms have their origins in Mexico. FUZHOU, Feb. 5 (Xinhua) -- A minibus rolled over and fell into a reservoir in Shaowu City in southeast China's Fujian Province Friday afternoon, killing 10, local officials said early Saturday morning.Nine people were rescued, and two were still missing.The minibus bound for Shaowu from Yong'an lost control at 5:27 p.m. Friday when the driver apparently tried to avoid a motorbike. It fell into the Qianling Hydropower Station reservoir, according to officials with Nanping city government.About 200 police and rescuers were still looking for the missing people, and the investigation into the accident is underway.

SAN FRANCISCO, May 3 (Xinhua) -- Microsoft announced on Tuesday that its Bing search engine will become the default search and mapping application on Blackberry phones.Microsoft Chief Executive Officer Steve Ballmer announced the partnership with Research in Motion (RIM), which makes Blackberry phones, at the Blackberry World Conference in Orlando, Florida, according to a Microsoft blog post.Ballmer said Microsoft would invest uniquely in the Blackberry platform in addition to its own Windows Phone platform."Bing will be deeply integrated at the BlackBerry OS (operating system) level," Ballmer said.Central to the collaboration, Blackberry devices will use Bing as the preferred search provider in the browser, and Bing will be the default search and map application for new devices presented to mobile operators, both in the United States and internationally, said Microsoft's Bing team in the blog post.Meanwhile, Bing is also shipping as the default search experience and map application for the newly released Blackberry Playbook, a RIM tablet computer which made market debut on April 19.On Tuesday's Blackberry conference, Ballmer called Google's Android ecosystem "chaos" and the Apple iOS "limited" before he hailed Windows Phone 7 and Blackberry.
