Actress Katherine "Scottie" MacGregor, who played Harriet Oleson on "Little House on the Prairie," died on Tuesday at age 93 in Woodland Hills, Calif., a representative confirmed to NBC News. MacGregor was credited in 153 of Little House on the Prairie's 203 episodes. The show portrayed a family living on a Minnesota farm. MacGregor's Oleson was the general store owner's wife, and she played a character who had a bit of sass. When the show ended in 1983, MacGregor largely stepped away from acting after a three-decade career in the field. MacGregor's co-star on Little House on the Prairie Melissa Gilbert saluted MacGregor with an Instagram post on Wednesday. "She was outspoken and hilariously funny," Gilbert wrote. "A truly gifted actress as she was able to play a despicable character but with so much heart. Her Harriet Oleson was the woman our fans loved to hate. A perfect antagonist. A woman in Illinois who tried to spike a toddler's sippy cup of milk with nail polish remover has been sentenced to 10 years in prison.Andrea Vazquez-Hernandez, 37, of Carol Stream, Illinois was sentenced Friday after being found guilty of aggravated battery causing great bodily harm to a child under 13 earlier this year.In May 2016, Vazquez-Hernandez mixed "one inch" of nail polish remover with milk and gave it to her husband's daughter. The girl immediately spit out the milk when she tasted the nail polish remover and was taken to the hospital. She was later released, and tests later revealed that her milk had been spiked.The girl had been fathered by Vazquez-Hernandez's husband with another woman, and Vazquez-Hernandez reportedly tried to poison the girl in order to punish her father.During her sentencing, the Chicago Tribune reports that Vazquez-Hernandez told the judge that she thanked God that the child was OK, but the judge was reportedly concerned about Vazquez-Hernandez's "lack of remorse."Vazquez-Hernandez will be required to serve at least five years of her 10-year sentence before being released.Alex Hider is a writer for the E.W. Actor Stoney Westmoreland has been dropped from his recurring role on the Disney Channel show "Andi Mack" after being arrested by police in Salt Lake City, according to a Disney Channel statement.A probable cause affidavit states Westmoreland, 48, used a dating app to chat with someone he believed to be a 13-year-old boy. The affidavit goes on to state the actor used the app to send explicit pictures and to arrange a meeting for sex.When Westmoreland arrived at the arranged spot, he was arrested by Salt Lake City Police and members of the FBI Child Exploitation Task Force. Salt Lake City Police records show Westmoreland was arrested last week for attempting to entice, seduce or lure a minor by internet or text and is facing four counts of dealing in materials harmful to minors."Given the nature of the charges and our responsibility for the welfare of employed minors, we have released him from his recurring role and he will not be returning to work on the series which wraps production on its third season next week," said the Disney Channel statement.CNN was unable to reach Westmoreland for comment Sunday or determine whether he has retained an attorney.Westmoreland had appeared in 38 episodes of "Andi Mack" as Ham Mack, the main character's grandfather. The show, entering its third season, is a coming-of-age comedy-drama following the middle-school adventures of a 13-year-old girl and her friends. All of it was Karina's idea and wish.“The guy who does Olaf’s voice! He appeared there and I was like what the heck! That I had no idea of it surprised me and it made me really happy. It was a shocking moment and it made me really happy,” Karina said.The 16-year-old Central California teen was surprised because, when granted an experience from Make-A-Wish, she really one had one thing in mind.“I actually didn’t know what I wanted to wish for. All I know is I wanted to give, not get,” Karina said.Karina says she's finally free. After seven months of brutal treatment for Lymphoma, she feels like herself again and wants to focus on things she loves, like music and cooking.
