It’s a sound that will change your life.“It’s magic; it’s the first real sign sometimes that you’re actually pregnant, to hear that heart,” said Elizabeth Madrid, a physician assistant.She's helping a new mom listen to her baby’s heart. This mom is a student at Florence Crittenton High School in Denver, Colorado. And at this school, all the students are moms or expecting moms. Like Emily Castaneda.“I never thought that I would go to an all-girls school, so it was kind of weird at the beginning. But I was like, I can relate to all of them, so I like it now,” said Castaneda.Castaneda is getting ready to graduate in May. She has a 1-year-old son named Eliin. Normally, she’d have to find daycare for him if she wanted to go to high school. That’s if she could afford it. “I’m like literally so close to him. I can come check him anytime. I probably wouldn’t even finish high school to be honest,” said Castaneda.This high school has daycare on-site, so new moms like Emily can continue their education. And if they need to see doctor for anything that moms, their kids, or expecting moms might need, they don’t have to go far. “We do prenatal care, we do their physicals for the children, we offer mental health services, we do dental services, any sick visits. We try to make it as easy as possible,” said Linda Almanza, a medical assistant at the clinic.The clinic, in partnership with Denver Health, helped Rebecca Roldan get through a scary moment when her second daughter had respiratory syncytial virus, or RSV.“She almost passed... I was just scared, and like coming to the clinic, they helped me. Like you don’t have to be afraid, we’re here to help with whatever medical you need,” recalled Roldan.Roldan’s daughter was in the hospital for a while, but now she’s out and healthy.Not only is the school helping her with her daughter's health issues and finishing high school, but they’re helping her look to her future. She wants to be a mental health therapist.“I’m taking phlebotomy and medical office so it gets me like in the doorstep," she said. "I’m getting an internship. I don’t know where yet, but this summer I’ll be doing a medical internship."That’s high-level training for a high school student. But Florence Critterton provides what they call a MEDConnect program, courses and work-based learning experiences for students interested in a career in the healthcare or biomedical sciences field.There are a handful of schools that offer daycare across the country from LA to Maine, but the staff here thinks the on campus clinic makes it one of a kind. “This is the only Florence Critterton with a high school and a clinic attached, and a daycare,” said Almanza.While they think they’re unique, the people who work at Florence Critterton would love to see this type of school all over the country.“This could be a role model to a lot of places in America," said Almanza. JUPITER, Florida —  It's now a sprawling sex trafficking investigation involving many jurisdictions and ensnaring wealthy, powerful suspects, but it began with a health inspector observing curious details suggesting women might be living at a Jupiter, Florida, day spa.Since at least July, after a state Health Department employee alerted police to signs of human trafficking, authorities had suspected Orchids of Asia Day Spa was providing more than massages and facials. Their suspicions were buttressed by a preliminary investigation that uncovered a seemingly all-male clientele and internet postings describing the spa as a "rub and tug," according to a police affidavit.Police requested the Florida Department of Health conduct a "routine inspection," and the department sent one of its inspectors there November 14. She reported back that the spa housed two rooms with beds, sheets and pillows, the affidavit said. There were also dressers containing medicine and clothing, as well as a fridge with food and condiments, it said.The findings, police and the health department determined, were "consistent with individuals living inside," the affidavit said.Taking a closer lookThis led a Jupiter detective to ramp up the investigation. Investigators pulled bags from a Dumpster and found a ripped-up ledger, credit card receipts and napkins wet with semen, the affidavit said.Police staked out the business, watching man after man enter the spa and leave after 30 minutes or an hour, the affidavit said. They also conducted traffic stops on customers leaving the business, who confirmed they had not patronized the day spa for its advertised services, it said.After obtaining a search warrant, investigators caught several johns -- including, allegedly, New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft, 1818

They said they're excited that women now have more options, but so far, there's no medical research to say one way or the other if organic is better for your body.The trend, though, is still running strong.Rosil said after she began using the organic products, her cramps have lessened, and she feels better."A lot of the time we found that an organic options are just going to be a clean, simple, cotton product." INDIANA — Two dogs are doing well tonight in a new and loving home after a northwest Indiana veterinarian refused the original owner's request to have the healthy dogs euthanized. The man who owned Sam and Cosmo had divorced his wife and was moving in with his girlfriend, who said she was allergic to dogs. He visited a Portage, Indiana veterinarian and asked that the dogs be put down. The vet refused because they were healthy and friendly dogs. Penny Emerson with Begin Again Rescue in Valparaiso, Indiana took in the dogs. Emerson says the dogs were eventually moved to Peoples Animal Welfare Society in Chicago's Tinley Park. This is where a Lockport, Illinois couple eventually adopted the dogs. "Someone had shared the article and we just lost our Chihuahua, Brutus, in June. And we had him for 17 years. And it just spoke to me because we just had a senior dog and I couldn't imagine just dumping him off somewhere," said Tiffany Dybas, one of Cosmo and Sam's new owners. "So, just saw the story about the dogs and it just broke our hearts." "If you have the room, and have the ability, and you're willing to take that step and see what you get — it's not a bad thing," said Tiffany Dybas' husband, Eric Dybas. "There's plenty out there and they all deserve a chance." Cosmo and Sam are adjusting to their new home and are loving it there. 1361

Kevin Spacey and the man who accuses the actor of groping him may come face to face in a Massachusetts courtroom Monday, in a case that has taken several twists and turns before the criminal trial has even begun.At issue in Monday's pretrial hearing is the cell phone on which the accuser texted his girlfriend and sent a video during the alleged assault. The prosecution says it obtained data from the phone, which it shared with the defense, and then the phone was returned to the man's family. Spacey's defense team wants to examine the phone itself, claiming that exculpatory evidence may have been deleted before it was given to police and prosecutors.Spacey, 59, faces criminal charges of indecent assault and battery in connection to the alleged July 2016 incident. The former "House of Cards" star has pleaded not guilty. He could face up to five years in prison if convicted.Judge Thomas Barrett ruled in June the defense was entitled to inspect the phone. However, the accuser and his family have said they don't have it and don't know where it is.Barrett extended the deadline for turning the phone over until Monday and said that if it's not found, the accuser, his attorney and his mother must appear in court to testify about its whereabouts.Surprise moveMeanwhile, in an abrupt about-face Friday, the alleged victim's lawyer announced that a civil lawsuit filed against Spacey a week earlier had been dropped.Spacey's accuser, who was an 18-year-old busboy at a Nantucket bar at the time of the alleged assault, filed the civil complaint on June 26.
