I couldn’t believe it. I saw everything.”Customs and Border Protection closed off the San Ysidro Port of Entry late Sunday morning. Then the California Highway Patrol blocked off both the 805 and 5 Freeways south of the 905 interchanges. American federal agents in full tactical gear lined up along the border, at times using tear gas and rubber bullets to deter migrants.  "Over there, there was smoke and the noise of the gun,” Martinez said. At this point, there are no reports of any of the migrants successfully crossing the border. Martinez said she saw federal agents turn them around. The bus depot next to the mall was also closed, leaving shoppers like Martinez stuck and not knowing when they could get home. "I don't know. I think it's going to close the border. When everything is in peace, they are going to open. What time? (CNS) - Los Angeles County Supervisor Sheila Kuehl was spotted dining outdoors at a restaurant in Santa Monica hours after voting to uphold a ban on outdoor dining due to a surge in COVID-19 cases, it was reported Monday.Kuehl had dinner at Il Forno Trattoria on Tuesday, soon after voting to uphold the county's new restrictions that were announced two days before, according to Fox11, which said it received multiple tips. During the board meeting, Kuehl called outdoor dining "a most dangerous situation."A representative for Kuehl told Fox11, "She did dine al fresco at Il Forno on the very last day it was permissible. She loves Il Forno, has been saddened to see it, like so many restaurants, suffer from a decline in revenue. (KGTV) - Doorbell camera video of a coyote following a man on a dog walk in Santee may be another example of coyotes becoming more aggressive in the area.On Monday after 9 p.m. on a quiet residential street, Ring doorbell camera video captures a man walking his dog. Moments later, something emerges from the shadows. It a coyote, and it's in an hurry. The video posted on the Ring app is titled "Beware coyote chasing a man with dog." That's exactly what appears to be happening. In the video, the coyote runs down the street before cutting in the man's direction. It's not clear if the coyote did catch up to the man or dog.Last week, 10News reported on Michelle Cimmarrusti's morning walk with Presley, an 8-year-old Silky Terrier. It unfolded on Palm Glen Drive, about a half mile from the site of the newest video. Two coyotes emerged from a bush and attacking Presley, while he was on his leash. Presley lunged, snapping his collar. He and the coyotes would end in a condo complex, where Presley was killed.Presley was the second dog killed by a coyote in the neighborhood in the last few weeks. Experts say coyotes attacking a leashed dog is a sign they're getting more aggressive in an area, and less afraid of humans, whether is food scarcity or the unintentional feeding of coyotes. 1315
