Baltimore State's Attorney Marilyn Mosby announced on Tuesday an indictment against a Baltimore Police Officer seen punching a man in a viral video. The video was posted over the weekend and quickly spread around social media. It shows an officer, Arthur Williams, and a man yelling at each other, and then you see the officer punching the man. Williams is charged with first-degree assault, second-degree assault and misconduct in office. The other officer seen in the video is not being charged. Mosby says her office has considered evidence that was public and transparent, but also other evidence as well. Shocked and concerned for the child, Suggs used his whole paycheck to take Smith.Suggs, an electrician, and his IHOP waitress wife Gail took in Smith and raised her. Smith now lives with her family in Middle River, Maryland.But when her father died, his wish for Smith was to find her sister.  And that's what she's doing. 761

Close II. "We know it's fancy and that's why we're doing it be the real issue is to get you out there to vote."Dr. Close owns Henri P. Close Funeral Service in Baltimore and is also the president of The National Funeral Directors & Morticians Association."Funeral directors have always been the quiet ones in the background," said Dr. Close. "We were always the Underground Railroad. Our limousines and our cars were always used, even when you go back to Selma when you go back to Montgomery. The funeral directors always provided transportation because people didn’t have that mode of transportation. The funeral home always had that mode of transportation."Close said the goal of NFDMA is to offer free rides to 300,000 registered voters in Baltimore, Miami, Detroit, Los Angeles, and Kansas City."Some people are using their Mercedes," said Close. "Some people are using their sedans; some are using sprinters. Even though it might be huge it’s a limited number of people we're transporting at a time."According to the organization, the initiative has helped Baltimoreans get to the polls for 25 years, with ridership peaking on election days in 2008 and 2012.Talking with WMAR, Dr. Close emphasized that transportation is more crucial this year as people attempt to vote safely during the pandemic."There are fewer polling places," he said. "so there is a need for transportation. Now we're the above-ground railroad to get people to the polls, no matter where they stand on issues."Because of COVID-19, the vehicles will be sanitized before and after voters get in. Face masks are required for both drivers and passengers. Blowing dust caused by strong winds across the state made for dangerous travel in Central Nebraska on Monday. The Nebraska State Patrol closed part of Interstate 80 near Seward for several hours after dust clouds obscured visibility in the area and caused in a multi-vehicle crash that left several injured, according to an NSP release.Six semi-tractor-trailers and several passenger cars were involved in the pile-up Monday, and I-80 was closed in both directions for nearly four hours while crews worked to assist injured motorists and clear the roadway, the release states.Injured motorists were transported to Seward Memorial Hospital; two were transported via life-flight, the release states. All injured parties are believed to have non-life threatening injuries.It was the second day dust had impacted travel in Central Nebraska. On Sunday, both directions of I-80 are were closed near Aurora because of a fatal multi-vehicle crash attributed to poor visibility due to blowing dust.  1058
