Video of an Arizona guitar hero is wowing people around the country.  The guitarist is Ridge Brown, a senior at Ironwood High School in Glendale, Arizona. He played the national anthem for a school assembly and the video posted by his teacher has gone viral, with thousands of clicks and attention from national news outlets. The reason, Ridge is a student with autism. The performance in front of his classmates was the first time he played in public, and he nailed it. "I was a little nervous, but I always felt excited," Ridge told Scripps station KNXV in Phoenix. "Autism can't hold me back because I'm a real rock star." That's the message his dad, Glen Brown, loves to hear. "There's a very, very smart person inside there, trying to get out," Glen said. Glen's mission in life is unlocking that potential. These days, Glen said Ridge loves talking and interacting with people, but that wasn't always the case. Ridge was nonverbal until age three. Music was the thing that finally freed Ridge from his autistic silence when he started singing with the radio. "It helps me express every emotion I have inside my entire brain," Ridge said. Now, he has plans for an encore."If the Suns wanted me to play the National Anthem at the game I'll be doing that," Ridge said. At the end of Ridge's first performance, a thunderous applause warmed dad's heart. "I broke into tears," Glen said. "The pressure was very big on my shoulders. I got a phone call from the President of Kenya."Starting at 8:15 a.m., Kipchoge was supported by 36 pacemakers who accompanied him in alternating groups, one of the reasons the IAAF governing body will not ratify the time as a world record.The groups were also helped by a pace car with a laser beam, projecting the ideal position on the road, and they received drinks handed over by cyclists and other runners to prevent them from having to slow down."It is a great feeling to make history in sport after Sir Roger Bannister," Kipchoge said in reference to the late Briton's first sub four-minute mile in 1954. WARREN, Michigan — Police are looking for thieves who stole nine brand new Dodge Ram pickup trucks in a Michigan town.The vehicles were stolen just before 4 a.m. local time Thursday. They were taken from the storage lot at the truck plant in Warren.Police say the trucks were fresh off the assembly line and had not been titled yet.The trucks are worth more than ,000 each. Authorities have not said whether there are suspects or if they have an idea of where the trucks may be.  505

Castro IV, 28, will be sentenced to 21 years in state prison on June 15.Castro was on a five-day methamphetamine binge and suffering from paranoid delusions when he shot Antonia Herrera -- the girlfriend of his best friend -- and dumped her body in the 27600 block of Champagne Boulevard near the Lawrence Welk Resort, said Deputy District Attorney Keith Watanabe.A resident on a walk discovered Herrera's body on an embankment on Jan. 12, 2017.Castro -- a documented gang member from Las Vegas -- was arrested there a month later and brought back to San Diego to face charges. 810
