The protest has been widely condemned by many members of the media, including multiple anchors at CNN.But one detail from the November 7 disturbance has come under scrutiny. Carlson told the Washington Post that "someone started throwing himself against the front door and actually cracked the front door."Liberal critics of Carlson have cast doubt on that claim by saying there was no evidence of damage to the door. They have accused him of lying and exaggerating to score political points.CNN contacted the D.C. police and asked about the door. The police report about the incident did not mention any damage on the door. We know where you sleep at night!" They called him a "racist scumbag" and hurled epithets.The police, speaking of the incident, said "a group of protestors broke the law by defacing private property."But the disputed detail about the door has come up several times. LANCASTER, Calif. – A man has been arrested for the murders of his 12-year-old son and 13-year-old daughter in Lancaster, California, which is north of Los Angeles.The L.A. County Sheriff’s Department said in a statement that fire personnel located the victims when they were called to the family's home to investigate a possible gas leak Friday morning.Detectives say the children both appeared to have suffered from lacerations and stab wounds.The mayor of Lancaster, Rex Parris, confirmed to KABC and the L.A. Times that the children were both found decapitated. He told the newspaper that “it was pretty brutal.”Officials tell the L.A. Times that the victims were found in separate bedrooms in the home and it’s unclear how long they had been dead.At the home, the sheriff’s department says there were also two adults and two other children who were questioned by homicide investigators. The L.A. Times identified the two adults as the victims’ parents.The children's father, Maurice Taylor Sr., was later arrested on murder charges and booked into jail, where he’s being held with a million bail.The L.A. Times reports the suspect is a personal trainer who acquaintances described as being “mellow” and “reliable.”Detectives say they’re continuing to investigate the murders. (KGTV) - A peace officer claims he was profiled by Walmart employees Wednesday.Johnny Aguirre says he and his wife went to the Walmart in La Mesa and he was carrying a backpack that he usually carries with him. There are items he carries in his backpack that are related to his job as a peace officer. “We walked in, and I got stopped by two greeters, they told me to put the backpack away int he lockers,” he said.Aguirre says the lockers were empty, so it was standard for all customers. He also says he noticed other people were walking around the store with backpacks.He believes employees singled him out because of the way he looked.“I got that feeling that I was profiled and racially discriminated because of the way I was dressed maybe,” he said. He says he was working all day and he was a little dirty.Walmart sent the following statement to 10News: “We do not tolerate discrimination of any kind. As a company, we’ve taken several steps to help mitigate the issue of crime and the locker system implemented in our Las Mesa store is just one example of our proactive approach.
