A shopping trip for school supplies at a Texas Walmart ended in tragedy for a mother who was fatally shot while shielding her infant son from gunfire, her aunt told CNN.Jordan Anchondo and her husband were shopping for school supplies after dropping off their daughter at cheer practice when a gunman opened fire in an El Paso shopping center, Elizabeth Terry told CNN on Sunday.The mother of three later died at a hospital after using her body to protect her 2-month-old son, Terry said.Her husband, Andre, is still missing, the aunt said."How do parents go school shopping and then die shielding their baby from bullets?" Terry said."The baby still had her blood on him. You watch these things and see these things and you never think this is going to happen to your family."Anchondo was one of at least 20 people killed after the gunman opened fire Saturday in what authorities are calling an act of domestic terrorism. It was the third mass shooting in the United States in a week -- and less than 24 hours later another deadly shooting spree in Dayton, Ohio, left nine dead.Families are still trying to identify loved ones.The baby was "pulled from under her body," said Terry, the sister of Anchondo's father, Paul, for whom the injured infant is named.The infant suffered broken fingers and is due to undergo an MRI, said Terry, who traveled from Sacramento after the shooting to be with her family in El Paso."My brother is devastated. We are just hoping and praying we find Andre alive. Any little hope that we can hold on to, that's what we are doing," Terry said.The first call of an active shooter went out at 10:39 a.m. local time, El Paso Police Chief Greg Allen said. A woman was arrested and charged after trying to attack a Burger King clerk over the wrong order in Livonia, Michigan, back in January.According to police, the woman got food from the Burger King and then came back the next day, demanding a refund because one of her burgers had tomatoes on it. Police say the clerk told the woman they could give her food or a credit, but couldn't give her money back.Police then say the woman got angry and threw the cookie rack at the clerk, tried to climb over the counter and threw a wet floor sign. It was all caught on surveillance video seen above.Eventually, the woman left but came back and threw food at the clerk's face. Less than two weeks after the Burger King incident, the woman also caused a disturbance at a Cricket Wireless store in Warren, Michigan. Police say she was disrupting display cases and stole a phone, and that she was mad she didn't get a phone with her new contract.In Livonia, she was charged with assault and battery, obstruction of justice, disorderly conduct and malicious damage of property. American Airlines plans to cancel flights well into April because of the Boeing 737 Max grounding.American, the world's largest airline, said Sunday it is canceling about 90 flights a day out through April 24. Before Sunday's announcement, American had only canceled flights through March 28.The airline is hopeful that that the 737 Max planes will be flying again soon, but said it is canceling flights about a month out as it waits for word from the Federal Aviation Administration."Canceling in advance provides additional availability and rebooking options for our customers," said the statement from American.The global fleet of 371 of the 737 Max jets was grounded indefinitely on March 13 after two of the planes had fatal crashes. A Lion Air flight crashed in October and an Ethiopian Airlines flight crashed on March 10.The causes of the crashes have yet to be determined but the focus has been on an automatic safety feature which may have forced the nose of each plane lower when it incorrectly believed the plane was in danger of going into a stall.Boeing and the FAA said they are working on an upgrade of its software to deal with that safety feature. Boeing said at the time of the grounding that it expected that update to be available "within weeks."American has 24 of the 737 Max 8 jets. But not every flight which had been scheduled to have a 737 Max has been canceled. American said it has rearranged its schedule to use other aircraft to complete some of those flights."We have balanced [cancellations] across our system," said the airline. It said both international and domestic flights are affected. "We will vary by day as we look to impact the fewest number of customers."American operates 3,300 flights its mainline system daily on average, and another 3,400 through regional carriers and partner airlines.Other carriers are not canceling nearly that far out.Southwest Airlines, which has 34 737 Max jets, said it is only canceling five days out at this point. Costco has made significant changes within stores in recent months due to the virus. Costco resumed May 4 after reducing hours, but is now requiring customers and employees to wear masks. Costco has also placed limits on some fresh meats. “We're going to start doing some things in mid-June on a slow rollout basis in sampling,” Costco CFO Richard Galanti said. “I can't tell you anymore, but needless to say it’s not going to be where you go and just pick up an open sample with your fingers.
