A Wisconsin judge has ruled against a Trump campaign lawsuit that sought to overturn the results of the presidential election in the state.“Because the court is satisfied the rules and guidelines applied in each of the disputed areas are reasonable, and a correct interpretation of the underlying early absentee voting laws, the certification of the results of the 2020 Wisconsin presidential election, after the Dane County and Milwaukee County recounts, is affirmed," Judge Stephen Simane said in a ruling released Friday.Hearings were scheduled Thursday for the campaign's federal and state lawsuits that were an effort to invalidate thousands of ballots in both Dane County and Milwaukee County.The attempt to overturn ballots in Milwaukee County was dismissed Thursday afternoon.Prior to the decision, attorneys for Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers and the state elections commission said the cases are without merit and should be dismissed.The ruling clears the way for Wisconsin's 10 electoral college votes to go to Biden. (KGTV) - San Diego Gas and Electric shut off power in parts of East County Sunday due to very strong winds and low humidity associated with the Red Flag Warning fire conditions.The utility company said it called customers in Descanso, Beckman Springs, Pine Valley and surrounding areas over the weekend to warn them about the possibility of outages.On Sunday night at 11:30, SDG&E shut off the power to about 1,000 customers as wind gusts reached up to 69 miles per hour.Once SDG&E turns off power for safety reasons, it is not able to turn the power back on until it determines conditions are safe, the company said.RELATED: 10News Pinpoint Weather ForecastThe power may remain out until the Red Flag Warning expires, which is set for Tuesday at 5 p.m., SDG&E said.Four of SDG&E’s nine community resource centers were due to open Monday morning to support residents without power. A woman was removed from an American Airlines flight, reportedly because of language on a mask she was wearing.Arlinda Johns shared a video of the incident on her social media accounts at the end of the July. The video begins with her covering her original mask with another one as the plane she is on drives toward the runway.Her original mask read “F*** 12”, and she was asked by an airline attendant to cover it up because of the language.The number “12” in this use is a reference to law enforcement. Johns told Local 10 News she is an “abolitionist” and supports efforts to “defund and abolish the police.”She says after she put on the new mask, the flight attendant returned and told Johns, “I better not see that other mask.” Johns says she responded, “I said, ‘Leave me alone, lady.’ She stood there, she said, ‘okay, I got you.’”“Everything she asked me to do, I did,” Johns said in her video.The video shows the plane driving back to the gate in Charlotte and Johns being asked to leave the plane.During the conversation with security, Johns repeatedly asks not to be called sir and asks for an explanation why she is being removed. After relocating most of the Republican National Convention to Jacksonville, Florida, President Donald Trump announced he has canceled the Jacksonville portion of the GOP convention for next month due to the spread of the coronavirus in Florida."I looked at my team and I said the timing for this event is not right, just not right with what's happened recently, the flare up in Florida,, to have a big convention," Trump said Thursday. "It's not the right time. It's really something that for me I have to protect the American people. That's what I've always done."A few convention activities will remain in North Carolina, Trump confirmed.Trump and Republicans opted to pick up and move most convention activities from Charlotte to Jacksonville after North Carolina’s governor would not commit to easing social distancing mandates for the convention.Trump said he still plans on delivering an acceptance speech during the convention week.While the Democratic Party hasn't officially canceled its Milwaukee convention for next month, it is encouraging delegates to stay home.
