HOLLYWOOD, Calif. (KGTV) -- Los Angeles Police Thursday released body-camera videos that show what happened leading up to the moment police shot and killed a machete-wielding man, KABC reports. The incident happened on November 26, 2019 on a street in Hollywood. The event began to unfold when the suspect, Nathaniel Pinnock, reportedly robbed a store near the intersection of Sunset Boulevard and Highland Avenue. Pinnock allegedly used a knife in the robbery. The body-cam video shows the 22-year-old stealing a vehicle at a fast-food restaurant before crashing it into several police cruisers. Several shots were fired by an officer before he begins to back away. HARRISON, Ohio -- A dad used heroin in a gas station parking lot while his 2-year-old daughter sat in the backseat, according to a police affidavit. The father then resisted arrest and had to be subdued with a stun gun, police said.Brenton Sturgill, 37, of Harrison, had two hypodermic needles -- one “still loaded with heroin” -- when he was arrested Saturday at the BP station at 9055 Dry Fork Road, according to the affidavit.Sturgill resisted arrest, leading to a “physical altercation,” according to the arresting officer. He has been charged with using illegal drugs, endangering children and resisting arrest. He appeared in court Monday morning. 686

(KGTV) - Gardena Police are thanking the UPS workers and customers who stopped a robbery in progress outside a UPS Store.Two men approached the victim as he walked outside the store September 7.  Police said the men knocked the victim with a ground, struck him with a crowbar, and tried to take his property.Police credit UPS employees and customers for scaring off the robbers.The victim was not seriously hurt.The attackers, who drove away in a white van, have not been caught. 508

Candles are one of several holiday traditions Great Falls Fire Rescue reminds people to think about."Make sure that if you're using a candle you don't put it near anything that could ignite and (catch) on fire.
